After splitting a pair in my NBA picks yesterday, I am back at it here on a Monday morning trying to start off the week right. With eight different games on tonight's NBA odds.

Nuggets vs. Bucks
One of the biggest mysteries this basketball season has been the Bucks, and what happened from last year to this year. In the 2014-2015 season, the Bucks were one of the better defensive teams in all of the NBA, and this year they have fallen to one of the worst. While it’s still early in the season, and while Milwaukee has plenty of time to turn things around, all signs point to it continuing for now. Bringing in Greg Monroe has helped their low-post scoring and offense, but it seems to be hurting their defense some too. The Bucks are dead last in the NBA in Defensive Efficiency so far this season at 112.4, and they are giving up 105 points per game to their opponents.

The NBA odds have the Bucks as -3 favorites in this one against the Nuggets, but after their slow start defensively, it’s the total of 200 ½ that I have my eye on. Despite playing at one of the slowest paces in the NBA this season, the Bucks might get sped up by the visiting Nuggets some. If Denver can also drop around 95 or more points on Milwaukee, that will lead to the over being one of the better plays of the later games tonight. Denver hasn’t been immune to giving up points either this season at nearly 104 per game, and with Milwaukee cashing the over at 11-6 so far this season, the Nuggets might even be able to score some here as well. The over cashed in the first meeting between these two teams at 102-103, and the over is 5-2 in Denver’s last seven games, and 8-1 in Milwaukee’s last nine. Take the over and add it to your NBA picks.

Mavs vs. Kings
One of the later games this evening has the Kings playing host to the Mavs, and the NBA odds have the road Mavericks as -1 ½ favorites, with a total of 214 points. The big question mark in this one is whether or not DeMarcus Cousins will play. He has missed the Kings last three games and he didn’t even travel with the team to their game on Saturday. However, he is listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Mavs. If he plays, this play is going in the garbage can, but if we can get some notification that Boogie will sit in this one, laying the point and a half with the road team is the way to go.

Dallas is 11-6 ATS so far this season, and after going on a mini three-game SU losing streak recently, they are still on track to be a solid ATS team this season. They are starting to get healthier, and while they don’t have the firepower of past seasons, if they can get steady production from their stable of role players, this team will be tough to beat tonight.

Sacramento is ranked last in the NBA this season giving up 109 points per game, and I don’t see that slowing down tonight against a Dallas team averaging more than 100 points per game. While the Kings have also been scoring the ball well, the Dallas defense is also improving rapidly, and if it shows up tonight, I’m laying the points. Dallas is still 6-4 ATS in their ten road games this season, while the Kings are 4-6 ATS at home, and only 1-5 SU in their last six home games against Dallas. As long as Boogie sits, I’m laying the points.
