It’s the return of the NCAA Tournament tonight, so the NBA is on a small hiatus. There is only one game tonight in the NBA Odds, and I am back to try and cash a parlay with the loan game.
Pacers vs. Bucks Spread
The Pacers played last night and got a good win against a struggling Wizards team, however they had to travel all the way to Milwaukee for tonight’s game, and probably got in last night. The NBA odds however only favor the Bucks at -1 ½, and some sportsbooks have the line at a PK. This is concerning for the Pacers, considering they are only 1-4 ATS in their last five games playing on the second night of a back to back.
The Bucks did not have to play last night and should be much better rested than the Pacers, and I think that’s why we should lay the points. Milwaukee is 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games when favored between ½ and 4 ½ points. On the other hand, even though they won and covered last night, the Pacers are still only 2-6 ATS in their last eight games. Both teams will likely play a slower paced game tonight, which should help the Pacers, but the Bucks have been getting great production out of their wings and newly acquired guard, Michael Carter-Williams, and I think those guys will be too much for the Pacers. Rodney Stuckey missed last night’s game and if he misses again, it takes away one of Indiana’s best scorers. Take the PK with the Bucks while you still can.
The NBA Odds have the total for tonight’s contest sitting at 186 ½ points as of Thursday morning. However that has dropped several points since it opened on Wednesday evening. Originally this total opened at 191 ½, so it’s dropped five full points in less than 12 hours. However even though a lot of the value has been bet out of this total, I still think there is some left. With the Pacers running on fumes after a tough game last night, the under still looks like the play for tonight’s game.
The under is 4-1 in the Pacers last five road games, and following a SU win, the Pacers have cashed the under in seven of their last nine games. On top of that, the Bucks have been very good at cashing the under against losing teams recently. The under is 4-1 in their last five games against losing teams.
These two teams have played three times this season before tonight’s game, and while the over cashed in their last recent game just a couple of weeks, ago, the under is still 2-1 in their three games against one another. In the first meeting, neither team got out of the 80s, and in the second matchup, both were barely into the 90s. I see a game much like the first two tonight, so take the under and add it to your NBA picks tonight.
NBA Pick: 2-team parlay, Bucks -1 & UNDER 186 ½
