We finally broke out of our mini-slump last night with two big wins in the NBA Odds. Tonight we have a smorgasbord of NBA Picks to choose from with 13 games on the schedule.

Suns vs. Magic
Neither one of these teams had to play last night, so both should be rested heading into this one. The NBA Odds have the Magic as +4 ½ home dogs in this one, but I am once again moving my attention from the spread to the total, which currently sits around 202 points. These two teams play at a pretty fast pace, with the Suns playing as the second fastest team in the NBA this season just behind the Warriors. The Magic are ranked 18th in the NBA in pace this season, and while that isn’t slow, it isn’t too fast either.

However the Magic cerate some bad matchups for the Suns, and it could lead to the over being a really good play between these two. While placing NBA picks 'under' has been trending recently with the Magic, they have had two days off to get ready for this game. When the Magic have had two days off in between games over the last few seasons, the over had cashed at 27-12. Also for the Suns, the over is 6-2 in their last eight games overall, and in their last six games following a SU loss, the over is 5-1 for Phoenix.

Look for a fast-paced game, and look for guys like Nikola Vucevic to have big games for the Magic against the Suns weak frontcourt. Despite Alex Len playing better, he still won’t be able to handle a load like Vucevic in the post.

NBA Pick: OVER 202 at The Greek

Check out our top NBA picks ATS for Wednesday.

Pistons vs. Pelicans
Staying with the theme of what’s been making us money since last night, the Pistons and Pelicans meet up tonight, and I am once again looking at the over. The NBA Odds have the game as a PK from New Orleans tonight, but the total of only 194 ½ is a steal for the over here this evening. Anthony Davis however has been upgraded to questionable for this game, and if he plays, the Pelicans’ defense will get better, but their offense will get even better. However I think the over could be in play regardless of AD’s status tonight.

The over is 10-4 for the Pelicans in their last 14 games overall, and the over is 5-2 for New Orleans in their last seven games against losing teams. On top of that, the over is 19-7 this season for the Pelicans when playing at home against a losing road team. New Orleans has also cashed the over in all five of their last five home games, and the over is 5-1 in their last six games following a SU and ATS Loss. The Pistons on the other hand have cashed the over in 20 of their last 29 games on Wednesday, and no matter who plays in this game for New Orleans, they are going to have trouble stopping the Pistons’ big men tonight. Plus, Reggie Jackson has no one to stay in front of him either. Take the over once again.
