We broke out of our mini slump last night, and hit both of our NBA Picks. On the year I’m now 22-12 during the NBA Playoffs, and I am back once again here on Tuesday to try and go for four in a row!

Wizards vs. Hawks
The Hawks looked a little flat in their first game of the second round against the Wizards, and Washington won the game pretty easily. Even though there were several instances of guys getting banged up during the game, it seems like everyone is a go for this game here tonight, a crucial one for the Hawks. The NBA odds realize this, and they have Atlanta as -6 favorites here tonight, with a total of 197 ½.

However after John Wall pulled out another spectacular performance to keep the Wizards undefeated in the playoffs, I’m surprised the NBA Odds makers have actually raised this line up in favor of the Hawks. Wall is clearly the best player in this series, and if the Wizards guards continue to outplay the Hawks guards, even with the mismatch advantages down low for the Hawks, the Wizards are going to win this series as well.

Tonight, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it is my motto, and I’m taking the points with the Wizards once again. The Hawks are only 2-6 ATS in their last eight games as favorites, and only 1-4 ATS in their last five home games. They are also an awful 2-12-1 ATS in their last 15 2nd round playoff games, and 2-7-1 ATS in their last ten games overall. The Wizards on the other hand are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games, 10-1-2 ATS in their last 13 games overall dating back to the regular season, and they are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 playoff games as underdogs. Take the points again; it could be a rough series for Atlanta fans.

NBA Pick: Wizards +6 at The Greek

Grizzlies vs. Warriors
The other team that has yet to lose in the playoffs is the Golden State Warriors, who made the Grizzlies look bad in Game 1, and have a chance to take a 2-0 series lead before heading to Memphis. The Grizzlies didn’t play great in Game 1, but being without their starting point guard is really hurting their chances in this one. However the Clippers won their game last night without Chris Paul, so while it’s not impossible for the Grizzlies to win or cover here, it’s going to be hard against the newly crowned MVP in Stephen Curry.

The NBA Odds have the Dubs as -10 ½ favorites tonight after their Game 1 beat down, with a total of 196 ½. However the Grizzlies played really badly in Game 1, and only lost by 15. Now probably without Conley once again, I think Memphis can come back and do what I thought they would do in Game 1, here in Game 2.

Memphis still has a solid team, and if their guys play up to par tonight, they will be able to cover this spread. I’m only doing this too because I won two last night and have a chance to take a few more risks, but the Grizzlies are no slouch.

Memphis is 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games following an ATS loss, and before last game, they were 5-0 ATS in their last five 2nd round playoff games. The Warriors are actually only 2-7 ATS in their last nine games following an ATS win, so take the points here once again with your NBA picks.

NBA Pick: Grizzlies +10 ½ at Pinnacle.
