We split another pair of NBA Picks last night, however it was a garbage time loss that went us to 1-1 instead of 2-0. However tonight I have a few more NBA Picks on this large Saturday night, and with the value from the NBA Odds, you need to follow these two Picks.
Clippers vs. Nuggets
The Nuggets are an embarrassment this season. For a city that just legalized marijuana, getting high might be the only way you can stomach watching this team. While they have some nice young pieces, they are impossible to watch because they have little to no chemistry, and after losing last night by 30 points to the Spurs, it’s going to be hard to pick them to do anything tonight.
Tonight against the Clippers, even at home, the Nuggets are +9 ½ underdogs in this one, but I am more focused on the total, which sits at 216 points. It’s by far the biggest total on the board for tonight’s slate, however for good reason. The Nuggets gave up 45 points in the first quarter against the Spurs last night, and they gave up 100 points through three quarters. The Clippers are just as hot as the Spurs right now and the Nuggets defense may be even worse tonight. I’m not sure if that’s possible, but another 115 points or more tonight for the Clippers might be easy.
The over is 6-2 in the Clippers last eight games overall, and the over has cashed in six of the Clippers last seven road games. On top of that, the Nuggets have cashed the over in five of their last six games against winning teams, and the Clippers have cashed the over in five of their last seven games as favorites. Take the over tonight and add it to your NBA pick.

Pelicans vs. Blazers
In what should be a much more competitive game, the Pelicans come off a win last night in Sacramento and head into Portland tonight to play the Blazers. Both teams are fighting for playoff positioning, and while the Pelicans are on the verge of being in or out, a win tonight could go a long way. They trail the Thunder by only a half game after their win last night and the Thunder loss, and if they can win tonight they will be tied in the standings with only six games left.
However tonight against a team like Portland, who also played last night, I think the Pelicans may be a little overvalued. The Blazers have already clinched their division and at least the fourth seed in the West, but they still have a chance to potentially grab the 3rd, or even 2nd seed. They blew out the Lakers last night, which gave their starters plenty of rest, and I think that’s the deciding factor tonight. The Pelicans had a hard fought game last night, and their legs are going to be a lot more tired than Portland’s.
New Orleans is only 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a winning team SU, while the Blazers have covered in four of their last six games. As long as Portland can slow down Anthony Davis tonight, they should be good to cover their NBA odds of -5 tonight. Lay the points.
