We split a pair of NBA Picks on Sunday, but we are still into the black for the playoffs after a very good weekend. Can we keep it going tonight with our two best picks from today?

Teaser Pick
We have had some success in these playoffs betting teasers, and tonight with the short sate looks like another perfect time to unleash one. Right now I am ignoring the Hornets and Heat game, but the other two seem like pretty good values for a teaser, especially the totals.

We cashed the same teaser two nights ago, and I am going right back to the well. The total for the Mavericks and Thunder game is sitting at 205 ½ in Oklahoma City tonight, and considering the Thunder at home during the regular season the Thunder played at a pace of nearly 100 possessions per 48 minutes, I expect them to run the Mavs right out of the gym in this one.

Dallas is probably going to be without Deron Williams after he played one minute in Game 4 before exiting, and JJ Barea said that he was having trouble accelerating after Game 4. This spells bad news for any resemblance of Dallas’ half court offense, so their only hope might be to push the pace right along side Oklahoma City.

If the Thunder get 100 possessions in this one, they will likely score about 108-109 points, which should easily lead to the over cashing in our teaser NBA odds. If you still want to get more information, please do not hesitate and check other articles on this game.

On the other game, I doubt the Clippers shoot as poorly as they did in Game 3 tonight, but neither team had a great offensive night. Portland has been getting better defensively as this series goes along, and in a must-win game for both teams, this one should be another dog fight. Look for a low scoring first half, which will lead to another lower scoring game.

The Pick: Teaser: 'Over' 201 ½ Mavericks vs. Thunder & 'Under' 210 Clippers vs. Blazers

Clippers vs. Blazers
Speaking of lower scoring first halves, that is exactly what I’m looking for in this Game 4 between Portland and LA. In all seven of their games against one another this season dating back to the beginning of the season, all but one game has been below 100 points at half time.

In this must-win game, the defense will once again come out, and considering the combined scores of these teams continue to drop in this series, I’m looking for the pattern to continue.

In their last three games against one another, the average pace of these playoff games has been about 93 possessions per 48 minutes. This is incredibly slow for both teams, but for some reason they tend to play more of a half court style.

The Blazers however, had two huge games from their guards in Game 3, and the Clippers had bad games from everyone not named Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford. While the latter might stay true in Game 4, Portland will not have the same luck as they did with their top two players in Game 4.

LA is going to start double teaming one of them, or at the very least locking down CJ McCollum again and forcing anyone but he or Damian Lillard to beat them. One of these teams is going to have a lower score tonight, but it will still be a lock-down game with a lot of defensive intensity in the first half. That being said, the first half total of 103 is way too high, and I am going with the 'Under' as my NBA pick on it tonight.
