Because of John Wall being a late scratch, I ended up not locking in anything on the Wizs. I'm 23-12 in the NBA Playoffs. Let’s see if I can keep the streak alive in tonight’s NBA Odds!

Bulls vs. Cavs
The Bulls put on a masterful performance against Lebron James and the Cavs two nights ago, and as long as Derrick Rose can break his streak of not playing well with only one day’s rest, the Bulls have a shot to go up 2-0 heading back to Chicago for Game 3. However that’s going to be a tall order. The Cavs played pretty badly, as did Lebron James. However even after that, the Cavs still come in as a -5 ½ favorite here, with a total of 194 ½.

They will still be without JR Smith in this one, and even though Iman Shumpert filled in nicely in Game 1 with over 20 points, he is not a threat to create his own shot like Smith is. This makes the Cavs as a whole a lot easier to defend, because after James and Kyrie Irving, there really isn’t anyone who can kill you. However I expect another great performance from both those guys, but if their defense doesn’t shape up some, the Bulls are going to win this game again.

However I am taking a page from my Game 1 play, and even though I think the Cavs offense might play better in this one, I also think the Bulls won’t hit as many open shots. That’s why once again I’m taking the under here at 194 ½. The under has now cashed in four playoff games in a row for both of these teams, and for the Bulls the under is 21-7 in their last 28 games as road underdogs. For the Cavs, the under is 4-0 in their last four games as playoff favorites, and 19-9 in their last 28 home games. Furthermore, the under is 21-8 in the Cavs last 29 2nd round playoff games. Take the under again, and add it to your NBA picks.

My Pick: UNDER 194 ½ at The Greek

Clippers vs. Rockets
I have doubted the Clippers all year up until their last two games. This team is for real after watching them beat the defending champs in a Game 7 with their star point guard banged up, then without him to beat down the Rockets on the road in Game 1 of this series. The Clippers are a title contender as long as Chris Paul doesn’t miss too much time, but the issue is Game 2 tonight, for which he is questionable. Tonight with that taken into account, the NBA odds have the Rockets as -7 favorites, with a total of 214.

I can’t imagine the Rockets playing as badly as they did down the stretch in Game 1 here, but I also can’t imagine they have found an answer for Blake Griffin between Monday and now. That’s why I am once again taking a page from my Monday playbook, and going with the over tonight.

The Rockets’ offense (James Harden) will have to play better here, and with a sense of urgency most likely. If the Rockets can get back to running and playing their style of basketball, the over should cash easier than it did on Monday. The over is 9-3 in the Rockets last 12 games, and it’s 9-2 in their last 11 home games. The over is also now 4-1 in the Clippers last five playoff games, so follow the trends and hit the over tonight.

My Pick: OVER 214 at Bet365
