We nailed two more winning NBA Picks on last night’s big slate of games, but today with the NFL still in full swing for one more week, there are not as many NBA Odds to choose from.

Blazers vs. Nuggets
Last night despite several injuries still hampering their play, the Nuggets took the Warriors to overtime, and almost gave them their second loss of the season. Now Denver has to travel back home to play the Blazers, another team that is banged up. The NBA Odds are also in flux for this game, with some shops still favoring the Blazers at -1½, while others have the line at an even -3 for the road favorites, with a total of 202½.

Normally it is wise to fade the team coming off the back-to-back game, especially when that game went into overtime. However, the Nuggets have been very good on the second night of a back to back this season at 6-3 ATS. With Damian Lillard in danger of missing his seventh consecutive game as a game time decision, it is almost impossible to handicap the spread in this one.

However, have no fear, because the total looks ripe for the picking. The Nuggets are also 6-3 cashing the over on the second night of a back to back, and with several guys looking questionable, it might be a night where defense does not show up. Kenneth Faried could be out for this game after being carted off on a stretcher last night, and if he misses and Lillard does as well, the over looks like the play.

Denver is 9-6 cashing the over at home this season, and the over has cashed in their last three meetings with the Blazers, including two this season. With the over cashing in four of the last five road games for Portland and at 5-2 in their last seven games overall since Lillard went down, take the over in this one. The over is also 8-4 in the Nuggets last 12 games, and 4-1 in their last five home games this season.

Suns vs. Lakers
With the loss of Eric Bledsoe, the Suns have looked almost as bad as the Lakers, and tonight we get a chance to see if LA is truly better than a Bledsoe-less Suns team. Right now the NBA Odds are somewhat even for this game, with the Suns coming in as -1 road favorites, with a total of 208½.

However, injury in this one is not just biting the Suns. Kobe Bryant is also in danger of missing this game with a shoulder injury. He missed the Lakers’ game on Friday, and if he misses again tonight, even with how banged up they are, the Suns look like the play.

The Suns are 4-0-1 in their last five meetings with the Lakers, including a 120-101 blowout that already took place back in November in Phoenix. While the Suns are at a slight disadvantage tonight playing in LA, Brandon Knight should destroy the Lakers from the point guard position, and it should lead to them winning this one outright.

LA is only 6-12 ATS in their last 18 games played at home, both this season and dating back to last season. While the Suns have given up a ton of points on the road this season, I’m looking for them to hold the Lakers to around 100 points to get the win as the NBA Pick tonight.
