We don't have a lot of games to work with tonight, but we should still be able to gain a slight edge by looking over the NBA odds and examining the matchup closely.

Miami Heat vs. Sacramento Kings
The Kings refused to give in last night, but ultimately they fell just short against the Hawks. Now they have to taken on a rested Miami team for a second game in as many nights.

As a result, you can see why NBA Odds makers have decided the Heat should be heavy favorites. They're laying eight points at a lot of the top sportsbooks around, and there are evens spreads of 8.5 popping up here and there. A reasonable total of 200.5 points has been posted on the board for now, but keep checking back with SBRodds.com in order to get the best number you can.

Sacramento had won three in a row before losign to Atlanta last night, and this is a team that recently got Darren Collison back too. DeMarcus Cousins is playing at a very high level, and so is point guard Rajon Rondo, who's been putting up some gaudy stats and playing massive amounts of minutes, out of sheer necessity because of all of the injuries.

As for the Heat, they're going to be out for blood after a very disappointing home loss to the Timberwolves their last time out, a loss which broke a three-game winning streak. Miami is 6-4 overall thus far on the year and should be contending for a high playoff seed in the Eastern Conference, so long as the likes of Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh stay healthy.

With our NBA Picks to start off the night, we think the Heat will simply have too much gas in the tank for an emotionally and physically tired Sacramento team. Miami matches up nicely with Sacramento, with the inside duo of Bosh and Hassan Whiteside able to match up more effectively with Cousins than many others team could. Wade also has a big advantage against a Kings team that's been awful at defending shooting guards over the years. We're on the Heat to win big.

NBA Pick: Miami Heat -8 at 5Dimes

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors
There is never much love lost when the Clippers and Warriors meet up on the court, and we get another rendition of this rivalry this evening. Current NBA odds show Golden State favored by 7.5 points, a high number that would lead you to believe that LA is not at full strength. Indeed, it looks like they'll be without both Chris Paul and J.J. Redick for this game.

The Warriors have still yet to lose a game this season, which means the target on their back is growing with each passing victory. It's a good thing they've handled the pressure with ease thus far.

The nightcap with Golden State on the road to LA is going to be one heck of an entertaining matchup, and it's easy to see a high-scoring game developing here. While the Warriors are capable of shutting things down defensively, they also have no qualms about getting into shootouts. That's what happens when you have so many weapons on your roster. Curry is going to have a field day considering he gets to go against Austin Rivers instead of Paul, and you can bank on another highly productive game from the superstar.

That being asid, the Clippers have enough talent to keep this game competitively, and being at home will help their cause, you'd have to think. Even with CP3 likely out, and Redick unlikely too, Blake Griffin has been a monster so far this season, and LA has a much more talented bench these days, along with accomplished scorers like Jamal Crawford and Paul Pierce.

As you may be able to tell, we're trending towards an OVER play in this Western Conference showdown.

NBA Pick: OVER 213 at Pinnacle
