While the Bulls laid an egg for our first NBA Pick, the Rockets & Clippers came through to split our evening. So far I’m 30-19-2, and I am trying for another 2 wins in tonight’s NBA Odds.

Hawks vs. Wizards
Washington is banged up and fighting, but they’ll be fighting for their playoff lives tonight as they head back home to play the Hawks in the Eastern Conference Semi Finals. The NBA Odds tonight have the Wizards as -3 favorites tonight, but should we fall into the trap tonight? Last night the Bulls were -2 favorites and completely gave up. Should we have the same faith in the Wizards tonight, even against a team that’s not as strong as the Cavs?

Washington did get John Wall back and it really helped them in Game 5, but this Hawks team is finding ways to win even when some of their best players don’t play well. In Game 5, Jeff Teague was a no-show, and Paul Millsap was a non-factor, and the Hawks were still bailed out by one of their All Stars, Al Horford. If the Hawks can win with only one of their best players having a good game, this team is going to have a good shot to not only cover here, but also win the game outright and win the series.

The Wiz Kids have been good at home during the playoffs, however they are only 2-5 ATS in their last seven-playoff games as favorites between -1 and -4 ½. Plus, the Hawks are actually 6-2 ATS dating back to the regular season when playing as an underdog within the same numbers. If one more Hawk player can give a dominant game tonight, the Hawks should have no issues covering the number here. I’m taking the points and adding it to my NBA picks tonight.

My Pick: Hawks +3 at 5Dimes

Warriors vs. Grizzlies
The Grizzlies have now lost two games in a row against the Warriors, and if they don’t show up for a third game in a row, they will be staying home tonight instead of heading back to Oakland. Memphis has their work cut out for them tonight, as the NBA betting odds have them as +5 home dogs tonight with a total of 193 ½.

Much like the series that just went to seven games last night, this series has been a goldmine for those of us on the right side of the total. The under has now cashed in all five of the games in the series, and in some of them it wasn’t even close. In every game in this series except Game 2, one of the teams scored 86 points or less, and it’s helped totals of nearly 200 points go well under However the sportsbooks have finally taken notice after that low scoring Game 5 in Golden State, and the total has dropped nearly five full points from 198 to 193 ½.

Here in Game 6 in the Grind House, this might open up some nice over value for such a low total. The over is 17-7 in the Grizzlies last 24 home playoff games when playing as an underdog between +5 and +10. I could see Memphis scoring a lot more tonight opposed to their Game 5 clunker, and as long as the Warriors don’t throw up a complete dud tonight, the over might be a great value.

My Pick: OVER 193 ½ at The Greek
