Tonight’s large slate brings a ton of good games to choose from, and I have done just that for my NBA Picks of the day! Let's keep winning, join me inside to get those free NBA picks.

Grizzlies vs. Nets
Memphis got some tough news recently that the injury Marc Gasol has been playing through is in fact a broken foot and not just a sprain, and the Grizzlies will be without their All Star big man for the foreseeable future. Foot injuries to big men are never good, and while the Grizzlies were kind of hanging on to the Western Conference playoff picture, this injury might force them to get drastic and maybe blow things up at the trade deadline to start a mini-rebuild.

However, for tonight’s game, the lack of Gasol and the Nets’ recent play gives us a nice opportunity to cash a winning ticket. While Gasol has seen a bigger impact on offense for the Grizzlies’ the former Defensive Player of the Year still insured the Grizzlies of a last line of defense against driving guards and wing players. Without that tonight, and with the Nets playing so much better on offense, the over might be a sneaky play between these two teams.

The NBA Odds have the Grizzlies as -3½ road favorites in this one, but without Gasol, their defense is not going to be the same, and they may even elect to go really small and push the pace now that Gasol is out for a while. If Memphis’ pace speeds up against this Nets team, the over is going to be a steal of a value tonight.

Memphis has now given up 114 and 112 points respectfully in their last two games, and it has helped them cash the over in an amazing 12 of their last 14. With the Nets scoring better recently, they too have kicked in with cashing the over as well, cashing it in five of their last six games. Look for the same result tonight without Gasol in what could be a much faster game than the total calls for.

Nuggets vs. Pistons
Another one of the earlier games on this big slate is the Nuggets heading into Detroit to play the Pistons, and the NBA Odds have Detroit as -6 favorites, with a total of 208 points. While the Nuggets have been up and down this season, recently they have been playing better both SU and ATS, and while some of their games have not turned into wins of any variety, if you watch them play you can tell they are starting to turn things around after many years of rebuilding in Denver.

The Pistons on the other hand seem like they can’t wait for the All Star Break, and in a game like tonight just days before their mid-season vacation, the Nuggets have a great chance of stealing one both SU and ATS tonight.

Denver has been very good on the road ATS versus the East this season, and heading into this game they are 6-2-1 ATS when playing inter-conference games on the road. While Detroit plays well at home, especially against the West, they have also lost four of their last five games ATS. With Denver coming in as one of the more undervalued teams recently, and combined with the +6 points you can get with them tonight, taking the points and hoping the Nuggets can stay in this one seems like a good wager. Add it to your NBA Picks tonight.
