We are still riding a mini shot streak, hitting on four of our last six premium NBA Picks. The odds makers have blessed us with some valuable lines and I have two of them here for you today.

Wolves vs. Hornets
The Hornets come into this game from Buzz City as -9 favorites in the NBA odds boards, with a total of 212 ½ points. Charlotte has been one of the better teams in the entire league over the last few months, and while they may have some issues stacking up against the Wolves’ size tonight, that is fertile ground for a play on the total of this one. The number has already been going up since it opened, and now some sportsbooks have the total at 213 and rising. This is just one more strong indication that the over could be a very good play for these two teams tonight.

For starters, the Wolves have been a virtual lock cashing the over on the road this season. Minnesota is 21-9 cashing the over on the road this season, and in their last seven road games the Wolves have given up an average of 114 points per game. While the Hornets have been pretty good defensively this season, their offense has been potent over their last three games, Charlotte has cashed the over in three straight games heading into tonight, and they have done so by scoring an average of nearly 118 points per game.

Even though two of those games were against the Sixers and Suns, the Wolves have been almost as bad on defense this season, especially on the road. Minnesota is averaging allowing 25 free throws per game on the road this season, which indicates to me they get a little lazy when playing away from Target Center and start to foul more, and putting the Hornets on the line will only help our cause for the over tonight.

Minnesota has cashed the over in six of their last seven games overall heading into this one, and they have cashed the over at 6-0-1 in their last seven road games. The Hornets have cashed the over in four of their last six home games as well, so I am adding the over to my NBA Picks tonight.

Magic vs. Warriors
The Warriors were on the losing end of the biggest upset in the NBA this season yesterday, and now they have to head back home on the second night of a back to back to welcome in the Magic to Oracle Arena. The NBA Odds have the Magic as +14 underdogs in this one, with a total of 222 ½. However, while there will undoubtedly be some people out there fading the Warriors after their loss to the Lakers, the Warriors have been pretty good this season not only on the second half of a back to back, but after a loss as well.

The Dubs are 11-4 ATS this season when playing on no rest, which is the best mark of any team in the league this season. Not only have they been good on no rest, but also in games after they lose SU, the Warriors are 3-1-1 ATS coming off a SU loss. The only game they lost ATS after a SU loss was to the Clippers, and now against a team like the Magic, who are good but not that good, I am laying the points with the Warriors in hopes that the loss to Kobe Bryant and the Lakers yesterday wakes them up and gets them to get back to crushing teams.

Orlando is no slouch, but since the All Star Break they seem to have been experimenting with playing faster and then playing slower over their last two games. Whether or not they try and get out and run with the Dubs or not is irrelevant tonight, however. The Magic have been beaten pretty easily in their last two road games both SU and ATS, and they were dominated by the Warriors just a couple weeks ago both SU and ATS as well. Look for Golden State to bounce back tonight ATS.
