We nailed both of our NBA Picks of the day yesterday, let’s try and stay there! With a nice slate of NBA Odds on Thursday night, here are my two best NBA Picks for the evening.

Warriors vs. Magic
The Warriors are coming off a nice win against the Heat last night to keep their quest for 73 wins alive, and now they head into Orlando to play the Magic, a team that would love to knock off Golden State. The NBA Odds favor the Warriors at -8, but a better wager tonight might be the total, which is sitting at 222½. While that is a very large number, these two teams are more than capable of cashing the over, and that’s where I’m going tonight.

After trading Tobias Harris, the Magic have started to play a little faster. In their last two games, the Magic have played at a pace factor of well over 100, and with the Warriors coming into town, you know they are going to push the pace as well.

While the Warriors are only 6-8 cashing the over this season on the second night of a back to back, they have been stellar at cashing the over on the road this season at 20-12, and against the Eastern Conference this season, the Warriors have scored an average of 114 points per game. On top of that, Golden State is scoring about 115 points per game in their last ten games, while giving up about 110. If they keep that pace going tonight, and the Magic can play fast like they have been doing over the last two games, this total is big, but it’s still going over.

Orlando is allowing 107 points per game in their last ten games, and after cashing the over in four of their last five games, this one looks ripe for the picking as well. Golden State has cashed the over in three of their last four games, and while these two teams haven’t played yet this season, I think that will lend itself to the over being a solid play, especially with the Warriors coming off a game last night. Orlando is 14-10 cashing the over this season coming off a win as well.

Bucks vs. Celtics
Speaking of higher scoring games, the Celtics and Bucks are set to hook up for the third time this season, and the NBA Odds have the Celtics as -8 home favorites in this one, with a total of 217. The total has shot up in this one from 213 to 217, and while some of the value has been bet out of the game, I still think there is some over value at the current price point. The Celtics have been on an absolute tear over their last 10 to 20 games, and in their last ten games the Celtics are averaging more than 113 points per game, while giving up about 111.

Enter the Bucks who are one of the worst road defensive teams in the NBA, and you have a recipe for another good over play here on Thursday night. The Bucks come into this one cashing the over in two straight games, and giving up 105 per in both of them. While the Bucks came into those two games cashing the under in five straight, against a fast paced team like Boston, the over is the play this evening.

Boston has cashed the over in five straight games heading into tonight, and they are 5-2 cashing the over in their last seven home games. With the exception of one game early this season, these two teams have cashed the over against one another in three of their last four meetings, and I see them making it four of five tonight. Their last meeting ended at 112-111, and I see another fast paced game like the one earlier this month here on Thursday. Add Over as your NBA pick.
