Today there are some great NBA Odds. I have found two more plays this evening that look like winners, so let’s see if we can break out of this late-season slump with two winners tonight.

Clippers vs. Celtics
Both of these teams are fighting for playoff seeding, which is surprising only on one side. The Celtics were supposed to be with the Knicks and Lakers this season in the lottery, and instead they look like they’re going to end up playing the Hawks in the first round of the playoffs. Boston is currently a half game up on the Nets for the final playoff spot in the East, and after the Nets beat the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night, the Celtics need a win here to keep pace.

However that’s more easily said than done. The Clippers will be going for their 49th win tonight, and the NBA Odds have Boston as a +5 ½ home dog, with a total of 207 points. While the spread is tempting, I think the better play for this early evening game in the Garden is the over.

The over has cashed for the Clippers in four of their last five games overall, and four of their last five road games. The over is also 5-0 in the Clippers’ last five games following an ATS win, and it’s 4-1 in their last five as favorites, and 6-1 in their last seven following a SU win. This should be a fast paced game, with the Celtics not having much answer for the Clippers’ big men. Even though the under is trending with the Celtics right now, they have played three of the slowest paced teams in the entire NBA in their last three games. The Clippers play much faster than the Knicks, Heat and Nets. Take the over for tonight's NBA pick. The Celtics have cashed the over in two of their last three home games.

Thunder vs. Suns
Oklahoma City looks like they may not make the playoffs again, which would be potentially devastating when they try and re-sign both Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. After a loss last night in Utah, the Thunder are now only 2 ½ games up in the final spot of the playoffs, but tonight they play one of the teams looking to take over that spot. The Suns are actually favored by NBA odds in this one at -1, but once again I think the total is where we need to look at this one, as it sits at 213 ½.

The Thunder have been cashing the over with great regularity recently, and even though they were unable to overcome the strong defense of the Jazz last night, dating back to the beginning of February, the Thunder are 18-7-1 cashing the over in their last 26 games. They have also been very successful in cashing the over on no rest. Coming off a game the night before, the Thunder are 11-5 cashing the over, and against the second fastest team in the entire NBA tonight, I see it going down again. The over is 9-1 in the Thunder’s last 10 road games, and the over has cashed in all six of their last six games playing on the second night of a back to back.

NBA Pick: OVER 213 ½
