Another two teams coming off a loss game last night are the Warriors and Suns. Both teams played last night on the road and both teams then had to travel to Oakland for tonight’s game.

NBA Picks: Suns vs. Warriors

The Warriors are favored by -8 ½ pointson the NBA odds board, with a total of 203 ½. Which side should we be on tonight?

The Suns almost blew a big lead last night in the Rose Garden, but they held on for the 102-98 win over the Blazers. Tonight against the Warriors will be a tough test. However, Andrew Bogut will likely still only be playing around 15-20 minutes coming off the back to back, which will help the Suns’ Marcin Gortat a lot.

It will also hurt the Warriors’ defense enough to where I’m recommending the over tonight. At 203 ½, this total seems a few points too low. The last time these two got together, the Warriors dropped 113 points on the Suns. Since then, the Suns have improved on offense, but not so much on the defensive end since Lindsay Hunter took over.

The Sharp Pick

The over has cached in nine of the last 12 times these two have played in Oakland. Plus, the Warriors are free falling right now. They have lost six straight games SU, and will be looking to right the ship tonight against the Suns.

During their losing streak, the Warriors have gone back to their old tricks. In those six games, the Warriors have given up an average of 118 points per game. Tonight against the Suns, I see a high scoring affair. Phoenix will have no trouble getting into the paint and scoring if Bogut isn’t playing his full complement of minutes, while the Warriors will be able to score willingly tonight against the NBA’s 22nd ranked defense. Play the total for your NBA picks in this one.
