Jeff Hornacek’s squad now hits the road for Sunday’s NBA betting, visiting the Oklahoma City Thunder. What are the best betting lines for our sports picks in this affair?

The Phoenix Suns have held foes to 87.5 PPG in their first two contests at home, with the UNDER cashing at 2-0.

Suns, Bledsoe top Jazz

Phoenix last saw action with Friday’s 87-84 victory over the Utah Jazz, ‘pushing’ as a three-point home favorite. Suns guard Eric Bledsoe drained a three-point bucket at the buzzer for his side’s win, finishing with 18 points and six assists.

Phoenix’ Miles Plumlee notched his second straight double-double with a team-high 13 rebounds, knocking down 6-of-11 shots from the floor. Suns mates P.J. Tucker and Markieff Morris logged two steals each, while Plumlee added three of his club’s 10 blocks.

The tight affair’s combined 171 points plunged beneath the ‘total’ of 195 ½, with each team held below 38 percent field shooting. Phoenix edged out the Jazz in fast break points, 24-14, while both foes combined for 36 turnovers.

Thunder rocked by T-wolves

Oklahoma City trailed by as many as 34 points on the same evening’s card against the Minnesota Timberwolves, coming away with a 100-81 defeat. Thunder forward Kevin Durant was held to 13 points, while Minnesota cashed for my followers as a two-point home favorite.

Oklahoma City’s Reggie Jackson and Thabo Sefolosha went a combined 0-for-7 from three-point land, with Jackson committing seven turnovers en route to four assists. The duo’s mate Serge Ibaka grabbed a team-high nine rebounds, while the Thunder sank 16-of-19 free throws.

Ibaka and Co. were outscored in the paint, 44-20, finishing with a subpar 34.9 percent night of field shooting. UNDER backers collected with the lopsided contest’s 181 points dipping well below the ‘total’ of 201, while the Thunder were edged in boards by a 44-42 margin.

Back the UNDER in OKC

Oklahoma City opened as a 9 ½-point home favorite on Marathon’s NBA odds board, while the ‘total’ was first posted at 198 ½. Phoenix’ Goran Dragic (15.5 PPG, 7 APG) is listed as “questionable” due to a face injury from Friday’s affair.

I am backing the UNDER in this duel as part of Sunday’s NBA basketball picks, looking for the low octane of both clubs to continue here.

Oklahoma City continues to miss Russell Westbrook from its lineup, while the UNDER went 12-3-1 in the team’s final 16 home dates last season. The Thunder have lacked spark with 37.8 percent shooting from the floor, ranking dead last in the league.

Phoenix has connected a subpar 24.4 percent from three-point land through its first two affairs, with a shift to the road unlikely to pick up that mark. The Suns were held to 95.2 PPG in their first eight contests away from home last year, while putting up just 96 points in each of its last two visits to Oklahoma City.

The Thunder allowed a tight 93.8 PPG in their first five affairs at Chesapeake Energy Arena last season, with the UNDER going 3-2. Look for UNDER backers to get the money again here, with each side having its share of struggling to find the rims.
