Sunday’s NBA betting has a pair of Western Conference battles coming from the “Lone Star State,” with the league approaching its final month of regular-season action.

The Golden State Warriors head east to meet the Houston Rockets, while the Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Dallas Mavericks.

Where are the night’s best odds for your bankroll as these foes clash?

Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets

Houston picked up its second straight win with Friday’s 108-100 victory over the Minneosta Timberwolves, falling shy of cashing as a 14 ½-point NBA odds favorite. Rockets guard James Harden piled in 37 points, while mates Omer Asik and Carlos Delfino united for 21 boards.

Golden State finished a seven-game homestand on the same night of action, logging a 113-95 defeat as four-point ‘chalk’ to the Chicago Bulls. The Warriors trailed by as many as 36 points, allowing Chicago to connect field buckets at a 51.8 percent clip

Houston is 3-0 ATS in its trio of matchups against Golden State, with the latest cashed ticket coming earlier this month in a 94-88 win as a two-point road dog. The Rockets rallied from a 13-point deficit, while both clubs shot below 38 percent from the floor. opened Houston as a seven-point favorite for Sunday’s rematch, while first setting the ‘total’ at 218. Early wagers on the Rockets and UNDER moved the numbers to 7 ½ and 216 ½.

I am agreeing with the ‘steam’ here, adding a ticket on Houston. The Rockets are 7-2 ATS in their last nine home dates, putting up 107 PPG. Golden State has not found the rims on the road, with a 1-9 spread record in their last 10 games on opposing floors.

The Warriors have been held below the century mark of scoring seven times in that span, while being lit up in a 140-109 blowout by the Rockets at Toyota Center last month. Harden combined with mate Jeremy Lin to drill 9-of-13 buckets beyond the arc on that occasion, with the duo coming in hot again here after both having a big night against the Timberwolves.

NBA Pick: Houston Rockets -7 ½ (

Oklahoma City Thunder at Dallas Mavericks

Dallas notched its fifth victory in six games with Friday’s 96-86 win as an 8 ½-point home favorite against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Mavericks veteran Dirk Nowitzki logged his third straight double-double, finishing with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Oklahoma City saw action on the same card, coming away with a 117-104 triumph over the Orlando Magic. The Thunder fell short of cashing as 17-point home ‘chalk,’ outrebounding Orlando by a margin of 52-33.

Dallas has a 2-1 spread record in its three meetings with the Thunder, battling their rivals to overtime in a pair of the affairs. Last month’s most recent duel saw Oklahoma City pick up a 112-91 victory as 8 ½-point home ‘chalk,’ with Thunder mates Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook uniting for 43 points.

Oklahoma City opened as a 4 ½-point favorite at for Sunday’s matchup, with the ‘total’ initially set at 210. Betting action on the Thunder and UNDER shifted the digits to five and 209, respectively.

I am taking the points with Dallas here as one of my NBA picks, adding Rick Carlisle’s club to Sunday’s sports picks. Friday’s win for the Mavericks moved Nowitzki and Co. to 4-0 ATS in their last week of action and an 11-4 ATS mark in their most recent 15 home dates.

Oklahoma City has been overvalued in some recent spots by NBA oddsmakers, going 2-5 ATS in its last seven road contests. The stretch saw 104.7 PPG given up by the Thunder, including losses to conference rivals in San Antonio and Houston.

NBA Pick: Dallas Mavericks +5 (
