No NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in a playoff series, but the Memphis Grizzlies will attempt accomplish this feat and it starts with game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.

Tip-off is scheduled for 9:00 pm ET at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. This game can be seen on ESPN.

Bet 365 Sportsbook lists the Grizzlies as a 3 point betting odds favorite and the total for the game is 180.5.

Memphis has one of the top defenses in the league, but it didn’t stop the Spurs from overtaking them in overtime of game 3, 104-93.

Can the Grizzlies create history and make a miraculous comeback? People expected a lot out of this team and to be down 3-0 in this series is a major disappointment for the NBA and Memphis fans.

Stopping Parker and Duncan

The Grizzlies will look to neutralize at least one of these men as Tony Parker is coming off of a 26 point, 5 assist, and 3 steals game in game 3 while Tim Duncan is coming off of a 24 point, 10 rebound, and 5 assist performance.

These are two of the coolest customers in the business. They’ve won multiple championships and will be headed to the Hall of Fame due to great coaching by Gregg Popovich and clutch play. Marc Gasol has quite an advantage in size and age in the middle and must take advantage of it for there to be a game 5 in this series.

Clutch Performer

Manu Ginobli has gotten older and his skills have eroded due to injury, but he’s still the perfect complimentary player for Parker and Duncan. Ginobli leaves every ounce of energy on the court and although he’s on the downside of his career, he still has the ability to come up huge in important games.

Ginobili delivered on Saturday with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Memphis will be consumed with the penetration of Parker and the court awareness and soft touch from Duncan. Ginobili is the “X factor” in this game. Whatever he brings to this game is icing on the cake and could seal the Grizzlies fate.

Play the Game That Got You Here!

The Grizzlies offense comes from their “Big 3” of Zach Randolph, Mike Conley Jr., and Marc Gasol while their bench players are major contributors.

Marc Gasol has earned great praise from Hall of Famer , Charles Barkley. Barkley said that Marc is better player than his brother Pau. Pau has 2 rings to show for his hard work and Marc will need to stop Duncan just to see another day in this series.

You know that Zach Randolph is going to play blue-collar style off the glass and use his ability to score by putting up a great amount of shots with his soft touch. Since the departure of Rudy Gay, Mike Conley Jr. has taken his offensive game to another level; he can not only pass the basketball, but is a major offensive threat. Gasol is the “X Factor” for Memphis. When he’s in a groove, he’s unstoppable. At his age and size, Tim Duncan has no business outscoring or matching Gasol off the glass. This is a big game in just the learning process for Marc Gasol.

Who Will Come Out On Top?

Home court advantage is huge in the NBA and look for the Grizzlies to live another day. Expect a big game out of the Memphis bigs for your NBA picks. It’s not going to be a favorable decision with the betting public, but I like the Grizzlies moneyline. San Antonio is too tough a team to underestimate and this could go down to the wire.
