Philadelphia is still winless on the season, but it's also 4-0 against the NBA odds over its last four games. The Sixers are double-digit dogs at Memphis Sunday night.

Sixers-Grizzlies Betting Odds
Most of Sunday's NBA odds market opened Houston at -12 for this game, with a total of right around 194; in the early betting the spread was holding steady, while the total dropped to 193.

Those who believe – miracle of miracles – Philly might actually win this game outright could get a moneyline price of +575 at JustBet.

The Situation
Philly (0-17 SU, 9-8 ATS) is still winless on this season, setting new records for futility every time out now, after blowing another fourth-quarter lead and losing at Houston Friday night 116-114. But the Sixers, much to this handicapper's delight, hung on to cover as 11-point dogs Friday, bumping their record against the spread this season to 9-8.

Philly trailed by 11 points after one quarter and by 16 late in the third, rallied to take a seven-point lead midway through the fourth, but faded from there.

On the night the Sixers shot 48 percent from the floor, and hit 16-of-35 from 3-point land, but allowed the Rockets to shoot 52 percent and got outrebounded 57-37.

Wednesday night Philly led Boston by 11 in the fourth quarter, but lost 84-80; Monday the Sixers led Minnesota in the fourth quarter but lost 100-95; and eight days ago they led Miami in the fourth quarter but lost 96-91. However, while Philly isn't winning games, it is 4-0 ATS its last four times out.

Memphis (9-8 SU, 8-9 ATS), meanwhile, had won six of seven, but lost at home to Atlanta Friday night 116-101. The Grizz led by five at the half, but managed just 43 points in the second half, eventually trailing by 17 in the fourth quarter, falling as three-point favorites.

Memphis shot 44 percent from the floor Friday, but allowed the Hawks to shoot 47 percent.

Earlier this week the Grizz won back-to-back nights, beating Dallas Tuesday 110-96 and Houston Wednesday 102-93.

Sixers-Grizz Recent History
Memphis has swept two games from Philly each of the last two seasons, taking last season's meetings by scores of 120-115 in overtime and 101-83. But the Sixers covered that first meeting at +10, and pushed the second meeting at +18.

The Grizz outshot Philly in those two games combined by a 48-44 percent margin.

Also, that first meeting flew OVER a total of 192, even without the overtime period, while the second meeting played UNDER a total of 190.

Sixers-Grizz Totals Trends
Philly is 9-8 on the OVERS this season, as Sixers games have averaged 195 points.

Memphis is 10-7 on the UNDERS, as Grizz games have averaged 197 points.

Injury Update
Memphis F Zach Randolph has missed recent action with a sore knee, and he's questionable for Sunday night. Over on the other bench Philly C Nerlens Noel missed Friday's game also with a sore knee, but he is expected to play in this one.

Free Betting Advice
Philly is covering spreads as of late because the stigma of the losing streak is leading to large spreads, and the Sixers are actually playing a little better ball. Their last four losses have come by a total of 16 points, and they had a chance to win each one. Of course, they're probably due for downer, but we'll take Philly and the points on the side here. Also, while the Sixers just hit the 100-point mark for the first time in nine games, Memphis recently held four straight foes to less than 100. So with our NBA Picks we're thinking UNDER.
