The New Orleans Pelicans (2-11) have been a major disappointment thus far, tonight they host a Phoenix Suns (7-5) team that can put the rock in the hole. See who we like as our NBA pick.

Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 22nd at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. According to 5Dimes Sportsbook, the Pelicans are a -1 betting favorite and the total is 209.5 on our NBA Odds board.

Inaccurate Odds
I really disagree with this spread as odds makers are really playing off of the fact that one of the best players in this league in Anthony Davis plays for the Pelicans.

Home or not, the Suns have been the far superior team. Remember, the Pelcians are a team that has lost 11 out of 13 games this season while the Suns possess a winning record. This is something to keep in mind when placing your bet. The total is spot on as both of these teams can score, but lack the ability to play defense.

Brandon Knight
Actually, I thought that the Suns would be a terrible team this season with the loss of Marcus Morris and they've proven me wrong. Getting rid of Morris has worked out for the Suns and the Pistons. The only person who is disgruntled about the move is Markeiff Morris. As Markieff Morris' numbers have slipped this season due to his desire to play elsewhere, Brandon Knight has been a flatout beast as of late.

Phoenix has really made some great moves. They knew when Goran Dragic wasn't at the top of his game anymore and he's in Miami and has been terrible and they also knew to hold on to the combination of Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe.

At 21.9 points, 5 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game, Knight has had the best run of his career and he keep's progressing.

Lately, he's had a couple of monster performances. He's coming off of a 38 point, 11 rebound, and 6 assist effort in a win over Denver in his last game and has had 3 games of 30 points or more in 3 out of his last 5 games.

He has literally carried this team on his back as he can do it all for a man of his stature. Phoenix really has a major asset in Knight, who is only going to be 24 years old in December. Guys such as Eric Gordon on the Pelicans are one dimensional while Knight is headed for elite status in the NBA as he's a multi-faceted basketball player. Look for Brandon Knight to keep beasting.

The Unibrow
Anthony Davis is a flatout stud, but he can't do it all by himself. As I mentioned, Eric Gordon is limited aside from being able to score and he's an inconsistent scorer and Ryan Anderson is a fantastic big man coming off the bench knocking down 3's, but when Anderson has started, he shown that he's not a star and belongs where he is. I see New Orleans having a rough season this year and Anthony Davis should demand some help from the front office.

For the season, Brow is averaging 22.4 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game. These are fantastic numbers, but even Davis' production has slipped. He's had to come back from injuries and like I originally stated, losing becomes contagious. Phoenix is the play here as they actually are the underdogs against a 2-11 squad.

NBA Pick: Phoenix Suns +1 at 5Dimes
