It’s the start of the NBA Playoffs; or as it should be called, April Madness! While I’ve already released my NBA Picks for Saturday, the playoffs bring an opportunity for some great prop picks, especially for the series. So here are my Bovada prop plays for all four of the Saturday series.

Wizards vs. Raptors
It’s hard to say who will win this series. It’s probably going to be a battle of who sucks less, and in the end both of these teams have looked pretty good and pretty bad this season. However that doesn’t mean they can’t have a long series against one another, because by most accounts they are pretty evenly matched. Plus with the value you can get betting this series will go seven games is pretty good from Bovada. While the Raptors have dominated the season series, the Wizards hands down have the best player on the floor in John Wall. If Wall can control this series against a suddenly declining Kyle Lowry, the Wizards have a shot to win, even though they don’t have home court advantage. However I think in the end the Raptors will click more and control things, so I’m taking them in seven games.

NBA Pick: Raptors in 7 (+333)

Warriors vs. Pelicans
I’ve said it before, but Monty Williams should do more than just dance for Anthony Davis, because while the Pelicans’ season isn’t totally his fault, if they missed the playoffs it would have been. However while they should make a quick exit, I think they showed everyone earlier this month that they can hang with the Warriors in certain instances. It won’t happen in the first two games from Golden State, but the Pelicans should win a game at home in this series. However five games is all this series is going, and while the NBA odds aren’t the greatest, I think it’s a somewhat safe play.

NBA Pick: Warriors in 5 (+120)

Bulls vs. Bucks
My Chicago Bulls are still out there, and if they pull a championship out of their collective behinds this season, it might be the greatest one ever, because not many people expect it. However while the Bucks do have a solid defensive roster, their scoring is going to really struggle against a renewed Bulls defense. I mentioned this in my NBA picks of the day, but the Bulls are giving up only 92 points per game in the month of April, and I don’t expect that to go up much during the playoffs. Despite all of the coaching drama in Chicago, they are going to win this series, however I think it might take six games. Reintroducing Derrick Rose back into the offense is going to take some time, but thankfully for the Bulls they play in the East, and with Pau Gasol leading the way they’ll win this series in six games, not five like some are suggesting.

NBA Pick: Bulls in 6 (+350)

Rockets vs. Mavericks
While the Spurs and Clippers automatically take the cake as the best first round series, this one might get honorable mention. Although I think the Rockets are the better team, the Mavs present some tough matchups for them. While the Rockets should be able to at the very least slow down Dirk Nowitzki, the Mavs smaller guards might give the Rockets some issues. The loss of Patrick Beverley is going to be felt early on for the Rockets, because Monta Ellis and Rajon Rondo are going to be tough covers for James Harden. Houston will survive, but I see this one going the max as well.

NBA Pick: Rockets in 7 (+350)
