Kevin Durant and the Thunder will be out for blood tonight after losing to the Lakers last week. What kind of value is out there in the NBA odds for this game?

Odds Overview

Depending on the sportsbook, the Thunder are favored by either 16 or 16.5 points, while we've got an exceptionally high total of 227.5 on the NBA betting board. Oklahoma City is 47-17 SU and 35-28-1 ATS, with Los Angeles at 22-42 SU and 34-29-1 ATS.

Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers have actually been off since that 114-110 home win over the Thunder back on Sunday.

It was a historic night for Jodie Meeks, who put up a career-high 42 points on 11-of-18 shooting. Pau Gasol had 20 points and 11 rebounds, Ryan Kelly posted a 12/8/5 line, and Kent Bazemore hit numerous clutch shots down the stretch.

It was Los Angeles' first win in four games, though they have gone a more respectable 3-3 SU (4-2 ATS) in their past six contests overall. That includes a solid road win (107-106) over the Trail Blazers.

Though the Lakers are just 11-22 SU on the road this season, they've gone a profitable 19-14 against the spread. They could be in for a long night though against a motivated Thunder squad, especially since Mike D'Antoni's team has allowed 124.8 PPG over their last five.

In terms of injuries, Kobe Bryant was recently ruled out for the rest of the season, Steve Nash is out indefinitely, while Nick Young (knee) is doubtful and Jordan Hill (knee) is questionable for tonight's contest.

Oklahoma City Thunder

After a disappointing little road trip which saw them lose to the Suns (122-128) and Lakers (110-114), the Thunder righted the ship with a 106-98 win over James Harden and the Rockets on Tuesday night.

The usual suspects brought their A games once again. Kevin Durant had 42 points on 12-of-22 shooting and added five rebounds and five assists, while Russell Westbrook (24/7/4) and Serge Ibaka (12 points, 16 rebounds, four blocks) brought it too.

Despite that win, it's been a little alarming to see how much Oklahoma City has struggled as of late. They're 4-5 SU (3-5-1 ATS) over their last nine, with home losses against the Heat, Clippers and Cavaliers.

The chemistry has been broken with injuries to two starters in Thabo Sefolosha (calf) and Kendrick Perkins (groin). They may not be star players by any stretch of the imagination, but both play important roles, and we've seen the Thunder struggle to adjust.

It shouldn't matter much against the Lakers though. We should see another dominant display from the trio of Durant, Westbrook and Ibaka, and we have a hard time foreseeing any other kind of outcome other than a blowout Oklahoma City win.

NBA Pick

In our eyes, no number is too high for tonight's game. The Thunder have a point to prove tonight and they should cruise to a blowout win.

Not only is Oklahoma City back on track after an impressive win over the Rockets on Tuesday, they've been practically unstoppable at home, where they're 27-6 SU and 18-14-1 ATS. The Thunder are also 36-7 SU and 24-18-1 ATS when playing on one day of rest this season.

The Lakers have recorded a couple good wins recently, but we still have no confidence in them for tonight. They're going to have to play really well to even stay close, and we just don't see it happening. Take the Thunder to cover the huge number for our basketball picks.
