When taking a look at this game from a distance, you might think to take a 180-degree turn and sprint as fast as you can. However before you take off running away from what should be a disgrace of an NBA game, you might want to take a look at some of the early NBA Odds from BetOnline.

The Sixers are a -3 favorite in this one against the Bucks, with a total of 206 ½. Even though these are the overnight NBA Odds, I think there is some nice value in them.

D-League special

If there was ever a game that you take one look at and immediately lose your appetite, it’s this one. The Bucks and Sixers will almost certainly be the top two odds favorites in the lottery this offseason, and after the trade deadline a few days ago, the Sixers are looking especially ugly tonight. Word out of Danny Granger’s camp is that he is not happy about being traded from one of the East’s best to one of the worst, and he might not even suit up in a Sixers uniform. With that, the 76ers are looking more like a D-League team than and NBA team.

Even though the Bucks are horrific in their own right, their struggle this season has been just as much battling injuries as it’s been just being bad. However tonight even on the road, they are looking like the play. Brandon Knight made his return for the Bucks a few nights ago and he is going to have a field day against MCW’s defense.

Milwaukee has the talent to beat this bad team even on the road tonight. OJ Mayo can give them scoring when they need it, as can Ersan Ilyasova. In fact, for probably the only time this season, the Bucks are the more talented team on the floor, and yet they are underdogs.

The Sharp Pick

The Sixers are a miserable 1-8 ATS in their last nine home games, and that was with both Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes, who are both playing in different cities now. I would wager than if we were to take one of the best D-League teams and put them up against the Sixers as they currently stand, the D-League team would probably win, just because they have probably more chemistry than this sad excuse for a team.

This is why I can’t help but think the Bucks are the play. Even though wagering anything on the Bucks is risky business, the Sixers are just not a good team right now, especially if Granger is content on not wanting to play for a lottery bound team. He is reportedly going to meet with Brett Brown to discuss things before making up his mind, however I wouldn’t get too optimistic if I were you, Sixers fans.

All in all, the Bucks have a much deeper team, and while it won’t be pretty, they should easily cover this spread against the Sixers for our basketball picks. Knight will own Carter-Williams, and the Sixers won’t be able to stop anyone tonight.
