Portland Trail Blazers players celebrating

The Rockets are coming off a back to back and playing their third game in four nights, but despite this the sportsbooks have them as a strong -4 favorite against Portland. After getting embarrassed by the Bulls two nights ago, the Blazers should bounce back and put up a nice effort as NBA Odds underdogs.

Trail Blazers vs. Rockets

The Bulls embarrassed the Portland Trail Blazers at home two nights ago, but after a night off they should be able to bounce back tonight against the Houston Rockets. The NBA Odds have the Rockets as a -4 favorite and even with the return of Patrick Beverley, that might even be enough for Houston coming off a back to back and playing their third game in four nights.

The dreaded third game in four nights is tough for any team against any opponent, especially with the Rockets coming off a game last night. Portland has been strong on the road this season and against a tired Rockets team, taking the points with the Blazers’ betting odds seems like a strong play in this one.

Even though the Blazers are very top heavy when it comes to their offense, the Rockets are not talented enough to stop both CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard. Both guys are coming off poor games and two bad games in a row is usually not something you see from those two talented guards. I expect the Blazers to keep this one close and potentially get the cover in the NBA Odds tonight.
