Both Suns and Blazers are decent teams that have started pretty weel their season. Tonight they face one another in what should be a high intensity basketball game. What does that mean for people betting on NBA? Points, lots of them.

 Suns vs Trail Blazers

Even though Phoenix lost to in Los Angeles the other night, the Lakers have proven already they are a lot better than most people give them credit for. However, Phoenix is also in that boat. The Suns have played virtually everyone close so far this season and tonight they are on the road in Portland as a +7 ½ underdog in the NBA Odds.

While taking the points might be a possibility tonight, the better wager is on the total of 217 ½. Both teams play little defense, as both are allowing more than 106 points per 100 possessions this season and both teams play at two of the fastest paces of any team in the league so far.

The Suns are playing faster than every team in the league outside of the Lakers. Phoenix is averaging almost 102 possessions per 48 minutes so far this season, while the Blazers aren’t far behind at 99.1.

Tonight against one another, we should see one of the faster games of the night. The total for this one is already bigger than any total on the slate and with the amount of shots being put up my both teams, there is bound to be a ton of points.

The Suns have now cashed the over in four straight games and five of their seven overall this season, while the Blazers are 5-2 cashing the over as well. Plus, the Suns are 4-0 cashing the over on the road, while Portland is 3-0 cashing the over at home this season.
