Tuesday’s NBA slate is a little smaller, but still has some NBA Odds value. I have identified two games that look like really good plays tonight, so let’s pad our bankroll for the huge slate of action tomorrow!

Mavs vs. Knicks
The Mavericks head into New York tonight to play the Knicks, and the NBA odds have the Mavs as -7 ½ road favorites, with a total of 202. For Dallas, they are coming off a tough loss to seemingly the best team in the West right now, the Warriors, while the Knicks battled well against the Raptors on Sunday, but could not hold on in overtime. Now against one another, the Mavs have a very distinct advantage over the Knicks. Even though Carmelo Anthony is back for New York, and even though Chandler Parsons is a game time decision tonight, the Knicks are dealing with many more injuries.

Iman Shumpert will miss tonight’s game, and J.R. Smith could also miss tonight. Plus, every point guard on this roster except for Jose Calderon is questionable tonight, so the Knicks could be playing with a really short bench. If that’s the case, the depth and firepower of the Mavs will be too much to handle for New York.

Even though the Knicks are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games, New York is only 4-9 ATS in their last 13 home games. The Mavs on the other side are only 1-5 ATS in their last six, but against an injured team like New York, the Mavs should be able to cover here.

Thunder vs. Kings
Oklahoma City is back at full strength, and the Kings are pretty far from it. Not only did they fire their head coach (who looked like one of the main reasons the team was playing better) but also they are still without DeMarcus Cousins for at least one more game. This is going to kill them against the firepower that the Thunder have, and with only Rudy Gay to try and match the Thunder stars, it’s going to be a long night in Sac-town.

This is why I was very surprised to see the Thunder as only -7 ½ favorites on the road in the NBA Odds. The total is sitting at 207, which has risen sharply from 204 ½ where it opened, however the spread for this game is simply too low. Another big missing piece for the Kings tonight could be Omri Caspi, who has been playing very well off the bench for this Kings team. However he has missed their last four games, and he is doubtful tonight with a bone bruise on his knee.

The Kings have been lacking on defense as well without Cousins, as I outline a few days ago, and makes it a big deal when making our NBA picks, but they are also only 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games, and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games overall. Coincidently, all of those games they have played without Cousins. While the big man may be ready to return Thursday, he won’t help Sacramento tonight.

The Thunder are 4-0 ATS in their last four games as favorites either on the road or at home, and they are 4-0 ATS after a SU win, and 5-1 ATS in their last six games after an ATS win. They have also covered their last four games in a row, and seven of their last 10 games.
