It’s a huge night of NBA action here on a Monday night, and with so many games to choose from, there are some great NBA Odds values. I have two premium NBA Picks for tonight’s game, and I am releasing them to you absolutely free!
Wizards vs. Pelicans
We head south for the first of our NBA picks today as the Wizards and Pelicans square off in the Big Easy. Washington is starting to falter some as they have lost three in a row and five of their last eight games SU, and they are 3-6 ATS in their last nine games. Their task doesn’t get easier tonight in New Orleans, as they have to deal with one of the toughest covers in the NBA, Anthony Davis. Washington is a +3 NBA Odds underdog on the road here, with a total of 200 ½. Even though the Wizards have been struggling recently, I think they can bounce back on the road here and cover this spread.
Washington lost to the three Texas teams in their last three games, all three on the road. Despite this game being on the road, before their most recent road-losing streak, the Wizards had won their last four road games SU. In their last game against the Pelicans at home, the Wizards squeezed out a win, and I think they do it again here on the road to get back on the right track.
Even though the Pelicans have been great ATS recently, covering their last five games in a row, Washington’s defense is going to make it tough for anyone without a unibrow to score in this game. Davis will get his, but the rest of the Pelicans have some bad matchups both offensively and defensively. Jrue Holiday is a solid defender, but John Wall is going to eat him for breakfast, and in their first meeting Bradley Beal had only been back for five games, so he should have an even bigger impact tonight in a favorable matchup.
My Pick: Wizards +3
Nuggets vs. Wolves
If there is one thing I can teach you about NBA betting this season, it is to fade the Wolves. However against the Nuggets, the NBA Odds have the Wolves listed as a +3 ½ home underdog, with a total of 208 ½. However even though Denver is tempting here, the total is by far the better play tonight. The Wolves are the worst defensive team in the NBA right now, and the Nuggets are going to have no issue scoring in this game.
Ty Lawson has been on fire recently, and the combo of Zach LaVine and Mo Williams has no chance at keeping him out of the paint. The Nuggets are actually deeper in the frontcourt as well, and the matchup of Kenneth Faried and Thad Young is al advantage Faried.
These two met just a little more than a week ago, and the score finished at 106-102. I see a larger score than that tonight though. The Wolves are currently on an 11 game losing streak including that game, and in those 11 games they gave up an average of 108 points per game. As long as the Nuggets can get to that threshold, the total is going over. Despite this being the time of year where legs start to get tired, even the Wolves should be able to score on Denver, who is giving up 104 points per game themselves. Despite the under cashing recently for the Wolves, the over is 7-2 in their last nine games against teams with losing records.
My Pick: OVER 208 ½
