We finally had a huge night on the NBA odds boards, so instead of cutting and running, I am ready to get back on the winning train with two more of my best player prop picks.

DeMar DeRozan O/U 6.5 Made Free Throws
DeMar DeRozan finally found his shot in Game 3, but it still wasn’t enough to beat our player prop pick on his total points falling under. However, now Bovada sportsbook has gone absolutely mad with his free throw total of 6.5 in his one. DeRozan got to the line nine times in Game 3 for seven made free throws, but before that he didn’t even get one attempt at the charity stripe in Game 2, and he had only six attempts and four makes in Game 1 as well.

Even after getting to the line a bunch in Game 3, I doubt the Pacers let him there as much in Game 4 on the road. Plus, he would have to make seven again for the over to cash, and while his game is predicated on getting to the line, the Pacers were solid this season, allowing a free throw to field goal rate of only .205, which ranked them in the top half of the league. Paul George is good enough of a defender to play DeRozan without fouling, so add the under to start off your prop NBA picks for Saturday.

Free NBA Pick: UNDER 6.5

Al Jefferson O/U 20.5 Points and Rebounds
Big Al Jefferson had a flashback in Game 2 of this series, posting 25 points and seven rebounds in just 27 minutes. However, with Nicolas Batum out, the Hornets are going to need some help scoring the ball froms omewhere outside of Kemba Walker, and Jefferson is just the man to do it. While Hassan Whiteside is a tough matchup, Jefferson’s quick feet and loaded arsenal of post moves was on full display in Game 2, and I expect it here once again in Game 3.

Jefferson should once again see 25-30 minutes in this one if the Hornets want any chance of winning, and while he is far from the automatic 20 points and 10 rebounds he used to be three or four seasons ago, Jefferson still has what it takes to take advantage of any matchup the Heat throw his way. With Cody Zeller struggling, and with the Hornets in need of offense, I expect Jefferson so take this prop over to cash a ticket for us.
