Friday’s NBA betting has Frank Vogel’s club finishing its three-game journey against the Boston Celtics.

The Indiana Pacers returned to their winning ways with Wednesday’s 103-96 overtime victory over the New York Knicks, cashing as 6 ½-point road ‘chalk.’

Have you seen what the Grizzlies are up to?

Pacers, George rally past Knicks

Pacers forward Paul George hit a trio of clutch free throws with five seconds left in regulation, sending Wednesday’s battle into extra minutes. The 23-year-old finished with a season-high 35 points, while adding five of his side’s seven steals.

Indiana’s David West and Lance Stephenson united for 19 rebounds, with Stephenson logging a team-high five assists. Pacers center Roy Hibbert came away with two blocks, while he and his mates sank 28-of-36 free throws.

The contest’s combined 199 points leaped above the ‘total’ of 185 ½, moving the OVER to a 2-0 mark in the Pacers’ last pair of matchups. Both squads were held below 38 percent field shooting, with Indiana edged in rebounds, 52-49.

Celtics, Sullinger slide in San Antonio

Boston logged its fifth straight loss on the same night’s card, dropping a 104-93 contest to the San Antonio Spurs. The Celtics were outscored in the second half, 56-45, while holding on to cash as 14 ½-point road dogs.

Celtics forward Jared Sullinger grabbed a season-high 17 rebounds, while hitting 8-of-17 field buckets en route to 19 points. Boston’s Kelly Olynyk and Jeff Green combined for three assists each, with Green adding one of his squad’s three blocks.

Sullinger and Co. were outscored in fast break points by a 20-8 margin, with the duel’s 197 points stretching OVER the ‘total’ of 192 ½. The Celtics allowed 48.1 percent field shooting, including an 8-for-21 mark from three-point land.

Back Boston as a home dog

Indiana opened as a 7 ½-point road favorite at The Greek, while the ‘total’ was  first listed at 185. Early NBA betting on the Pacers and OVER drove the digits north to eight and 186, respectively.

I am backing the Celtics as home dogs, taking the points in what should shape up as a tighter contest than NBA odds makers think.

Boston is 3-2 ATS in its last five spots as an underdog of eight points or more and should bring its “A-game” for another cover here. The trio of cashed tickets included a 111-110 road upset of the Miami Heat, despite being the second night of a back-to-back.

Indiana has had a bit of home-road disparity when it has come to the team’s defense, including a season-high of points allowed in Saturday’s 110-94 defeat to the Chicago Bulls. The Pacers look to be vulnerable again here, with the Celtics cashing at 5-1 ATS in the rivals’ last six meetings at TD Garden.

Friday has given SBR the opportunity for some great NBA Picks of the Day~

January’s most recent affair in Boston between the foes saw the Celtics cruise in a 94-75 victory, with the Pacers held to 31.8 percent field shooting. Jared Sullinger came off the bench for a team-high 10 boards, while mate Courtney Lee sank 6-of-9 from the floor to notch 13 points.

Look for the Celtics to pull together another big outing at home, cashing a ticket and giving the Pacers a tough fight.

Free Pick: Boston Celtics +8 at The Greek
