Our NBA handicapping professional has gone 6-2-1 with his top totals picks during the past four days. Go inside to find out who he likes on Friday, and also read why he likes those NBA picks.

Portland Trailblazers vs. Memphis Grizzlies 8:05 PM ET
Memphis has gone under the total in their last three, and six of their previous seven games. They’ve limited their last three opponents to an average of just 72.3 field goal attempts per game. The Grizzlies have really struggled offensively this season, scoring just an average of 90.2 points per game, and shooting a miserable 39.9% from the field. When you couple that poor shooting with the snail’s pace they prefer to play at, then it becomes highly conducive to low scoring games. One of my NBA picks on Friday will reflect the tendencies I just discussed.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks 8:35 PM ET
Friday will be the finale of a five game in eight day road trip for the Lakers. They’ve gone under the total in each of their first four games of the trip, and there was a combined average of 196.3 points scored per contest. The Lakers began the year by playing horrible defensively, and have seemed to improve dramatically in that regard on this road swing by allowing 101 points or less in all four games. These teams met once already this season at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Dallas won 103-93, and that game easily stayed under the total of 213.0. The NBA odds at Bookmaker.com provides me with a favorable number for this specific wager.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Sacramento Kings 10:05 PM ET
Brooklyn has gone under the total in each of their previous four games, and there was a combined average of 193.5 points scored per contest. As a matter of fact, the Nets have gone under the total in each of their five away games this season.  Brooklyn is coming off a 106-98 win as an 11.5 point underdog at Houston.

The Sacramento Kings have gone under the total in each of their previous three games, and those contests produced just a combined average of 194.7 points scored per game. Sacramento is coming off a 101-92 win as a 2.0 point underdog over Detroit.

Any team (Kings) with a total of 200.0 or more, coming off a straight up underdog win, versus an opponent (Nets) coming off a road underdog straight up win, resulted in those games going 36-12 (75%) under the total during the past five seasons.

NBA Pick: Under 206 at Heritage
