The Rockets are playing like they want to challenge for a Western Conference title this season and with a less than 100 percent Clippers team coming in, I expect the to take care of business. Tie that with a fast paced and high scoring game in Denver and you have a great NBA Odds teaser.
I’m going back to my bread and butter with a two-team teaser tonight and we’ll start with the Rockets and Clippers. Chris Paul made his return for the Clippers, but it may not be enough tonight in Houston against a surging Rockets team. Houston has won 13 of their last 15 games SU and they have been pretty solid at home this season at 8-6 ATS.
The Clippers, on the other hand, have now dropped four in a row and I don’t see their losing streak halting tonight. The Rockets simply have too much firepower right now with Blake Griffin out and considering the Clippers are only 7-10 ATS on the road this season, teasing down the Rockets to -1 or – ½ is a great play for the first leg of our teaser.
The second leg is a risk, but with Joel Embiid coming back tonight after sitting out last night’s game for the Sixers, I have some confidence in their offense tonight. Plus, they were playing Utah last night and now they get Denver, a polar opposite team defensively and in pace.
Denver is playing as one of the faster teams in the NBA this season and while this one could get sloppy, the Sixers have cashed the over in four of their six games on no rest this season and some of those were without Embiid. Now that he will be on the floor, I am teasing down the number to 207 and taking the over.Free NBA Pick: Rockets -½ & Sixers/Nuggets OVER 207Best Line Offered: at BetOnline
