The Knicks and Raptors square off on Saturday with Toronto as a big NBA Odds favorite. However, despite the total flying upward, we think this may be an opportunity to find value in the under.

Knicks vs. Raptors

The New York Knicks are predictably struggling after everyone and their mother thought that a washed up Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah were enough to win them an NBA championship. Newsflash Knicks fans, the Knicks are far away from being a title contender and they may even be pretty far off from playoff contention as well.

New York has only won three of their first eight games both SU and ATS. This has been mainly because of their questionable offensive philosophy of using the triangle sometimes, then abandoning it on others.

The Knicks have also been pretty poor on offense. They are averaging only 104 points per 100 possessions and that number may go down some against the Raptors. With Toronto playing at home and with Jonas Valanciunas back in the lineup, Toronto’s defense is going to be tough to beat tonight.

Toronto is allowing only 104.9 points per 100 possessions, but with the pace of this game, it’s unlikely either team gets to 100 possessions in this one. The Knicks are playing at a pace of only 97.4 possessions per 48 minutes and the Raptors are playing even slower at 93.6. With the Raptors’ solid defense and with both teams coming off the back-to-back, look for this game to be slower paced and for the under to be a great wager.
