Mike Woodson’s club finishes a four-game road swing in Friday’s NBA betting, meeting the Denver Nuggets. Let's review the betting odds for this match-up.

The New York Knicks have logged seven straight losses, while failing to cash in the slide’s stretch with a 0-7 ATS record.

Knicks, Anthony fall to Clippers

New York’s latest defeat came in Wednesday’s 93-80 setback to the Los Angeles Clippers, falling shy of collecting as a 9 ½-point road dog. The Knicks were held to a 38.6 percent night from Staples Center’s floor, including a sparse 3-for-20 mark beyond the arc.

Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony sank 9-of-10 free throws en route to a team-high 27 points, playing over 40 minutes for a fourth straight game. New York’s Andrea Bargnani came away with his first double-double in seven matchups, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The contest’s combined 173 points plunged below the ‘total’ of 204, moving the UNDER to a 5-1 mark in the Knicks’ last six games. Bargnani added four of his side’s six blocks, while mate Raymond Felton recorded seven assists and two steals.

Nuggets, Lawson upset T-wolves

Denver surged to its fourth straight victory on the same evening, cashing as a seven-point road dog in a 117-110 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Nuggets saw eight members of their roster reach double figures, while leading by as many as 15 points.

Nuggets guard Ty Lawson connected 7-of-15 field buckets, notching 23 points and four assists. Denver’s Jordan Hamilton and Nate Robinson drained 5-of-9 shots from three-point land, while Hamilton logged three of his club’s 11 steals.

The high-octane affair’s 227 points soared above the ‘total’ of 213 ½, with Denver outscoring the Timberwolves in paint points, 60-46. Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov grabbed a team-high eight boards, while he and his mates were outrebounded, 46-36.

Back the UNDER in Denver

Denver opened as a nine-point home favorite at The Greek, while the ‘total’ was first set at 202. Both clubs will have one day off until Sunday’s league slate, with the Nuggets visiting the Toronto Raptors and New York hosting the New Orleans Pelicans.

I am taking the UNDER in this contest, adding the ‘total’ wager to Friday’s card of NBA picks

New York has failed to break the century mark in its last six games, while holding foes to a tight 92.7 PPG away from home. The UNDER is riding an 8-0 streak through spots that followed the Knicks’ last eight losses by more than 10 points, with the same wager cashing at 6-2 in New York’s last eight road matchups against clubs with winning home records.

Today, I have another pick pertaining to the Lakers and Pistons~

New York’s Carmelo Anthony (10.1 RPG) and Denver’s Kenneth Faried (9.3 RPG) take the floor as two of the league’s top 20 rebounders, while the Nuggets rank a lowly 26th in sinking free throws (70.3 percent). Referee Rodney Mott has had the UNDER collect at a 10-3 clip in his last 13 matchups on the hardwood, including a 3-1 mark in contests with a ‘total’ of 195 or more.

Denver has captured attention for its high scoring, but has also quietly held foes to 43.8 percent field shooting through the year – ranking eighth in the NBA. The Nuggets saw their last two home dates cash UNDER tickets, allowing a tight 93.5 PPG in visits from the Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls.

Look for UNDER backers to get the money again at Pepsi Center, adding another winning ticket to the wager’s 15-5-1 clip in New York’s last 21 duels coming after a defeat.

Free Pick: UNDER 202 at The Greek
