A pivotal Game 3 in the Eastern Conference goes down tonight as the Nets and the Bulls hook up from Chicago. What numbers have the odds makers set out on the table for us tonight?

The NBA Odds for this one favor the Bulls at -3 ½, with a total of 181 points. The Bulls and Nets have both won a game, and the winner of this game most of the time go on to win the series. With such a high stakes game, whom should we back in our NBA picks?

The Game 2 total went Under after the Bulls held the Nets to only 82 points. Will defense rule again? I’m not so sold on that. The Bulls sis only give up 91 points per game at home this season, but that is a little fluky. The Nets on the other side gave up about 95 points per game on the road, which if we just went by that, the Over would be the play here.

In fact I’m siding with the Over in this game for that and many other reasons. Three of the last five times these two have played the total has gone over, and in those three overs, the totals were 181 points or less in all three, making tonight’s total seem to have some value

Both teams play really good defense and we know that. However I think offense will click enough tonight for the Over to be the bet. All these two have to do is both score in the low 90s, and I think that is probable. These two don’t match up well with one another, and I think the over is the play here tonight. I see a final score of about 97-93. The Nets should correct their offense after only mustering up 82 points a few days ago, and the Bulls at home should find enough offense to either win or cash the Over.

My NBA Pick: OVER 181
