Free NBA Basketball picks for a few of tonight's biggest games. Find out where our handicappers believe that the best value lies for NBA bettors tonight.

We have a short card on Monday, but that shouldn’t hinder our value on the NBA boards this evening. Let’s take a look at a couple of the games for tonight and see if there is a side we can feel comfortable backing this evening.

Wizards vs. Raptors

The Raptors play host to the Wizards this evening as one of the early games, and Toronto is a -4 ½ favorite with a total of 189 1/2. Toronto has continued to play exceptionally well since the acquisition of Rudy Gay, the Raptors are 7-3 SU and are playing like they want one of the eight playoff seeds in the Eastern Conference.

The Wizards are no joke now that they are healthy, but on the road Washington is not the same team. The Wizards score a league low 86.8 points per game when playing on the road, and playing in Toronto won’t help either. Over ten times teams have failed to score more than 90 points when playing in Toronto. For this one however, I think the spread is a wash. The total however is giving us some great value, and we can use the Wizards’ inability to score on the road as well.

I think this total is a bit too high tonight and that is why I’m adding the under to my NBA picks in this one. The Wizards are 20-6 cashing the under on the road this season, while he Raptors are also cashing a profit on the under at home this season.

The only time these two have faced one another this season the total went under, and three of their last five meetings have gone under as well.

My Pick: UNDER 189 ½

Lakers vs. Nuggets

For the second of my free picks, we will be taking a look at the matchup between the struggling Lakers and the Nuggets. This will be the fourth time these two have faced off this season, and the Nuggets currently have the advantage 2-1 both SU and ATS. This is the highest total of any of the matchups, as all three games have gone over this season.

For this one however, I’m not siding with the total or the spread, instead going with the first have spread for the Nuggets. The Lakers playing yesterday and then having to play tonight in the altitude of Denver will likely make them come out flat.

Danilo Gallinari is a little banged up, but as long as he is a go, I like the Nuggets in the first half. Two out of the three times these two have played, the Nuggets have been up at the half, and I think they’ll do it again tonight.

My Pick: Nuggets -3 1H
