After hitting another two NBA Picks and my last four in a row, I am back to release my favorite NBA plays. Monday’s slate is a shorter one than normal, but there are still great pot NBA Picks.

Magic vs. Grizzlies
The Magic have looked a lot better since the turn of the New Year, and tonight they have another tough test when they head into Memphis to play the Grizzlies. The NBA odds have the Grizzlies as big -11 ½ favorites, however I am much more intrigued by the total, which sits at 209 ½. The total opened much lower than this at 206 points, however since then it has steadily risen to almost 210, the second highest total of the night.

Even though the Magic have been killing it on offense recently, the Grizzlies’ defense is good enough to slow them down. Nikola Vucevic has been a man possessed recently, dropping 25 points and grabbing double-digit boards in almost every game. However, Marc Gasol should be able to slow him down some tonight, and if that’s the case I am all over the under.

The Grizzlies probably won’t score more than 100 points in this one at home, and if they are at 100 points, the Magic will barely touch 90 tonight. The under is 4-1 for Memphis in their last five games against teams with losing records, and the under is 5-2 in Memphis’ last seven home games. For the Magic, the under is 6-2-1 in their last nine games versus a team with a winning home record. This is big because the Magic have cashed the over in their last seven games, so this could be why the total is so huge. However the under is also 8-3 for the Magic in their last 11 games against winning teams, and I am following the trends and betting the under.

My Free NBA Pick: UNDER 209 ½

Kings vs. Knicks
Sacramento opened the season looking like a team that would make a run at the West playoffs. However some injuries and one strange coach firing later, this team has started to falter big time, and once again they look destined for the lottery. However tonight they get to play another team who will be high in the lottery, the Knicks. New York is by far the worst team in the league right now, and the NBA Odds have them as only +3 underdogs this week against the Kings. No matter how bad they’ve been playing to this point, the Kings are a lot better than -3 against the Knicks, and I am laying the points here.

DeMarcus Cousins is going to feast down low in this game. The Knicks already don’t have much on the front line, and with Cole Aldrich and nothing much to stop Cousins, the Kings will have easy baskets and offensive rebounds whenever they want. On top of that, Rudy Gay should also have a big game here. If Carmelo Anthony plays that helps the Knicks significantly, but it still won’t help defense Cousins or Gay.

New York is only 2-7 ATS in their last nine home games, and even though they have covered their last four games in a row, they are not as undervalued tonight as they were in those four games. I see Sacramento getting back on track tonight so add them to your selection of NBA picks.
