Free NBA picks for both of the Monday night playoff matchups. Have the NBA odds makers left us any value on the boards, and will the lines move in our favor?

Monday’s NBA betting has a pair of Game 4 matchups, with both favorites looking to take the driver’s seat in each series. The Miami Heat remain listed as road ‘chalk’ against the Chicago Bulls, while the Memphis Grizzlies host the Oklahoma City Thunder.

What are the best options for our NBA picks tonight, and where can we find the best betting lines on offer?

Miami Heat at Chicago Bulls

Friday’s Game 3 saw Miami come away with a 104-94 win as an 8 ½-point favorite, outscoring the Bulls in the fourth quarter, 34-24. The Heat shot 50 percent from the floor, while sinking 26-of-30 free throws.

Heat forward LeBron James notched a team-high 25 points, while mate Chris Bosh logged a second-double-double in five games with 20 points and 19 boards. Chicago’s starting five was led by Carlos Boozer’s 21 points, with guards Marco Belinelli and Nate Robinson uniting for 13 assists.

The battle’s combined 198 points jumped above the ‘total’ of 186, lifting the OVER to 2-1 in the series’ first trio of matchups. Chicago outscored Miami in paint points, 44-28, while the Heat shot 8-for-20 from three-point land.

The NBA odds makers at Bet365 opened Miami as 8 ½-point ‘chalk’ for Game 4, while first setting the ‘total’ at 188. Early wagers on Chicago and the UNDER dropped the digits to 7 ½ and 187, respectively.

I am taking the Bulls plus the points here, sensing the number should have been set a tad lower. Chicago has cashed at 4-0 ATS in its last four spots that came after a double-digit home loss, while still shooting a respectable 45.5 percent from the floor in Game 3.

NBA Pick:  Chicago Bulls + 7 ½ at Bet365

Oklahoma City Thunder at Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis moved to an 8-1 spread mark in its nine postseason affairs with Saturday’s 87-81 victory as a 5 ½-point home favorite in Game 3. The Grizzlies held Oklahoma City to 36.4 percent field shooting, while being outrebounded by the Thunder, 51-44.

Grizzlies center Marc Gasol piled in 20 points, while adding two of his squads six blocks. Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka both came away with a double-double, uniting for 38 points and 21 rebounds.

The tight affair’s combined 168 points plunged beneath the ‘total’ of 187 ½, moving the UNDER to a 2-1 mark in the series. Oklahoma City edged out the Grizzlies in fast break points, 23-7, while Memphis hit 23-of-28 free throws.

Memphis opened as a 4 ½-point favorite for Game 4’s matchup at Pinnacle Sports, with the Curacao betting shop first posting the ‘total’ at 184 ½. Both numbers remained unchanged in early betting action.

I am adding Oklahoma City to Monday’s card of sports picks, taking the points and looking for a close contest. The Thunder should be able to knock down a few more shots this time around, while pulling out all the stops to come away with a split at FedEx Forum.

Memphis has been on a tear at the sportsbooks, but lays ‘chalk’ again here as the scoring of both teams continues to drop in their postseason campaigns. Look for Oklahoma City to keep the matchup a bit closer this time and come away with a cashed ticket.

NBA Pick:  Oklahoma City Thunder +4 ½ at Pinnacle Sports
