We have a short card here on Monday night, but that doesn’t mean value doesn’t stick out.

I have identified a couple of games that I see value in this evening, so let’s uncover where we have decided to place our NBA picks.

Pistons vs. Raptors

One of the early games for Monday night is the Pistons and Raptors playing one another from Toronto. Both teams played last night and will be on short rest, and the NBA Odds favor Toronto in this one by -6 ½. However, I’m more focused on the total for this one, which sits at 194.

Both Andre Drummond and Brandon Knight are back playing for the Pistons, which should help them finish the season strong after faltering big time in the month of March. I also think both will play key roles tonight for Detroit.

The Pistons are giving up a ton of points recently, and while I don’t think that will change much tonight on short rest, I do think their offense is getting a boost. Last night against Chicago they scored 94 points on the road, and I think they will do much more than that against a bad Toronto defense.

Detroit is giving up 105 ppg in their last ten games while the Raptors are giving up 102 in their last ten. I think the back to back for both teams will make this one a high scoring affair either way.

My NBA Pick: OVER 194

Bobcats vs. Bucks

The hapless Bobcats head into Milwaukee tonight, and the NBA Odds favor the Bucks at -11 ½ with a total of 205. The Bucks are a rare team in that they not only score more at home, but they give up more points as well. I understand Charlotte isn’t a great road scoring team, but they haven’t been awful in their last two road games, and against the Bucks, I think offense will rule.

I also would like to add a Bucks' ATS cover to my free picks in this one. Charlotte is giving up over 104 points per game on the road, and I think Milwaukee is in for a big offensive night. I’m seeing a 111-96 type of game, making the Bucks laying points another valuable play. Even if the Bucks continue their recent run of no defense, the over will cash. The Bucks have given up 103 points per game in their last ten games, and the Cats have scored an average of 97 in their last ten. Lay the points and take the over.

My NBA Picks: Bucks -11 ½ and OVER 205
