Let's look at the NBA odds that have been lined out for this match-up.
Likely without three of their stars, New York is being classed as a humungous underdog in the NBA odds this afternoon.
Right now the Knicks are getting 12.5 points from oddsmakers. The total can be found at 195, with the OVER a profitable 4-1 in the previous five head-to-head meetings between these big-market teams.

New York Knicks
Felton, Shumpert, Copeland, Martin, Thomas
Hardly an intimidating starting five, the Knicks are still dealing with injury problems, with Amare out long-term and both Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler still recovering as well. Those two are listed as doubtful for tonight.
New York has been pretty awful lately, losing three straight by an average margin of 22.3 points. Their offensive production has been lacking and that's putting it lightly – they've failed to top 94 points in any of those three losses.
The Knicks did hang around with Portland on TNT Thursday, but couldn't maintain their hot start for long. They were outscored 56-32 in the second and third quarters combined and ended up losing 105-90.
J.R. Smith did his best to jump-start the offense, scoring 33 points on 11-of-21 shooting, but only two other New York players scored in double figures.
The SU and ATS loss means the Knicks are now 3-7-1 ATS over their previous 11 road contests and 5-11-1 ATS in their past 17 games overall.
Paul, Billups, Barnes, Griffin, Jordan
The Clippers have had quite a bit of time to stew over a 96-85 loss to Memphis back on Wednesday. They came in as six-point favorites but had no answers for the Grizzlies' stonewall defense throughout.
In the loss, Chris Paul went for 24 points and nine assists, though he did have five turnovers. Blake Griffin added 22 points, six boards and five dimes, but the Clippers' bench, normally a strength of theirs, was disappointing to say the least. Jamal Crawford and Lamar Odom went a combined 4-of-18 from the floor and the entire bench posted just 11 total points.
Many times this season we've witnessed L.A. bounce back after losses. They've gone a perfect 5-0 ATS over their previous five following a defeat, so that puts them in a good spot here against the reeling Knicks.
Eric Bledsoe is still nursing a calf problem, but L.A. has more than enough talent to overcome his absence. This is one of the deepest teams in the NBA we're talking about here.
The Clippers beat the Knicks by 14 in Madison Square Garden this season and that was with Melo pouring in 42 points. Who knows what kind of damage could be done this afternoon in L.A.

The Knicks are giving it their best shot without three key pieces, but they just don't have the firepower to keep up with a lot of these teams right now.
Smith has had to shoulder essentially the entire load on offense, and while we expect him to have another productive day, the depth of the Clippers should be way too much for New York to handle for the entire 48 minutes.
L.A. has been patiently waiting for their chance to get back on the court again and we think they'll pounce on the wounded Knicks. This is obviously a huge line to cover, but I'm taking them for my NBA picks here. The only way the Clippers don't get it done is if they're ice cold from the field.
NBA Pick: Los Angeles Clippers -12.5 from 5dimes
