Will New York collect again here or can the Bulls stop the streak as they did to the Miami Heat? Find out where we are looking to place our NBA picks in this matchup.

The New York Knicks have surged to a 13-game winning streak, cashing with a 12-1 spread record at NBA betting windows. Mike Woodson’s club heads west for Thursday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls, who have logged a 1-5 ATS slide since the end of March.

Take a look at our predictions for the First Round Playoff Matchups.

Knicks, Anthony thrash Wizards

New York’s latest triumph came in Tuesday’s 120-99 victory over the Washington Wizards, cashing as an 8 ½-point home favorite. The Knicks shot 56.2 percent from the floor, including a stellar 20-for-36 mark from beyond the arc.

Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony piled in 36 points, while uniting with mate Raymond Felton for 14 assists. New York’s Chris Copeland grabbed a team-high nine boards off the bench, while finishing with 17 points in 30 minutes of action.

The lopsided affair’s combined 219 points soared above the ‘total’ of 197, lifting the OVER to 5-3 in the Knicks’ last eight games. New York led by as many as 31 points, while sinking 10-of-14 free throws.

Bulls, Boozer fall to Raptors

Chicago logged its third loss in five games with Tuesday’s 101-98 setback to the Toronto Raptors, upset as 3 ½-point home ‘chalk.’  The Bulls trailed by as much as a 16-point deficit, allowing 51.4 percent field shooting from Toronto’s lineup.

Bulls forward Carlos Boozer notched his ninth double-double in 11 games, finishing with 19 points and 11 boards. The two-time All-Star added a team-high eight assists, while mates Jimmy Butler and Nate Robinson united for 50 points.

The battle’s combined 199 points leaped beyond the ‘total’ of 185, ending a 4-0 UNDER run from the Bulls’ prior four matchups. Chicago drained 10-of-17 buckets from three-point land, while outscoring the Raptors in paint points, 48-38.

Back the Bulls as home dogs

The NBA odds makers at opened New York as a three-point road favorite, while first posting the ‘total’ at 189. Early wagers on the Knicks and OVER drove the numbers north to four and 191, respectively.

I am adding Chicago as a home dog to Thursday’s sports picks, taking the points. The Bulls are 5-0 ATS in their last five contests against foes with winning records and should be up to bring their “A game” again as part of this nationally-televised spot.

Chicago has had its share of injuries to deal with, but has seen some increased production to help fill the gaps. Jimmy Butler connected 3-of-3 shots beyond the arc in Tuesday’s defeat, while center Nazr Mohammed has stepped up in the middle with double figures for board in three of his last five outings.

New York’s depth could start hurting here with Kenyon Martin, Marcus Camby and Tyson Chandler all expected to miss this affair. The Knicks barely outrebounded Washington, 39-38, while returning to Chicago after shooting 32.1 percent from the United Center’s floor in December’s 93-85 loss to the Bulls.

Chicago is 4-0 ATS in its last four meetings with the Knicks, while the underdog has a 6-1 spread record in the last seven battles between these rivals. Look for points to come in handy again, with the Bulls cashing in this spot.
