One of the most undervalued teams in the NBA have been the Grizzlies this season, and they come in as -6 favorites with a total of 179 points in New Orleans tonight.

With a seemingly pretty low spread and total, which way should we go with our NBA Picks for Friday night?

With the exception of the Mavs this season, NBA bettors should note that the Grizzlies have been the most undervalued road team, cashing ATS at 20-12 on the road so far this season. The Hornets on the other side have been a little overvalued at home, going 15-19 ATS in New Orleans this season.

The Grizzlies have flown way under the radar so far, even though they have also been one of the hottest teams in the NBA both ATS and SU. Since the Nuggets have 14 in a row, and the Heat have 24 SU wins in a row, no one has seemed to notice that Memphis is 16-3 SU since February 10th. Tonight heading into New Orleans, the Grizzlies will extend their run and get the cover as well.

Memphis is 4-2 SU in their last six games playing in New Orleans and 7-2 SU in their last nine meetings with the Hornets tonight. I think the Grizz defense will clamp down tonight, and the big man duo of Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph both should put up big efforts against the rookie Anthony Davis and the other Lopez brother.

Memphis is also 5-2 ATS in their last seven trips to New Orleans. If the Grizzlies can hold Kevin Durant and company to under 90 points in a game, the Hornets might not even get to 80 points tonight. I think we see an ugly slow game tonight that the Grizzlies should win by eight points or more. Lay the points with confidence on the road tonight, as the NBA odds makers have given us a gift by only asking for 6 points. The Grizzlies are 14-5 ATS this season as road favorites.
