Free NBA picks for a few of Friday's biggest matchups. Where do our NBA handicappers believe that the best value lies, and how do we plan on cashing in?

It’s ball night in the Association, and we have plenty of nice value sitting out on the boards for Friday night. I have two NBA picks for you this evening, so let’s see if we can get a couple of cashes heading into the weekend.

Bulls vs. Bobcats

Chicago had a rough time last night at home against the Heat, as they only amassed 67 points, and lost yet another home game SU and ATS. Tonight however they have a chance at retribution against the Bobcats. Chicago comes into this one as a -6 ½ road favorite, with a total of 186.

For my free picks in this game, I am actually siding with the Bulls team total. With the total and spread as they are, the Bulls’ TT should be around 96.5 or 97 points, and I’m siding with the under. The last three games these two have played in Charlotte, the Bulls have averaged scoring just under 99 points per in those three games. On top of that, the Bulls will likely be tired, which will hurt their defense more than their offense.

Kirk Hinrich missed last night’s game for Chicago, and if he is able to go tonight, that will really help the Bulls’ offense. Charlotte is giving up over 102 points per game this season, and I think the Bulls will be close to that number this evening in points scored.

My Pick: Bulls TT OVER 96.5

Kings vs. Hawks

The Kings come to town fresh off of giving away the #5 pick from last year’s draft for basically nothing. That being said, their bench could potentially be pretty light tonight, which might lead to more run for some players who normally don’t get the minutes.

The Hawks are big favorites in this one, but I’m focusing on the total, which sits at a very valuable 201 points. The last two times these two have faced one another the total has gone over, and in eight of their last ten meetings as well. The Hawks were able to drop 112 in Sacramento earlier this season, and I expect a similar output this evening, against a Kings team that is giving up 104 points per game. The NBA odds offering of 201 is providing us with great value.

My Pick: OVER 201
