Who are the biggest favorites on the board tonight? Which plays are our resident NBA handicappers going to be adding for Friday? Let's see if they can kick off the weekend in style with their sports picks.

Well, the Mavericks (-9.5 vs. Utah), Thunder (-9 at Orlando) and Wizards (-8.5 vs. Cleveland) are the three chalky plays that stand out above the rest. The Clippers and Pacers are also firmly favored for their respective games against Toronto and Portland.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Indiana Pacers

Covered by Jason Lake

This is going to be a great game. The Pacers (38-10 SU, 31-17 ATS) will play host to the Trail Blazers, who are 35-14 SU and 26-23 ATS, with the NBA odds showing Indiana as a 5.5-point favorite.

Not only have the Pacers lost just twice at home all season, they also come in on a three-game winning streak. As for the Trail Blazers, they're 16-9 SU on the road so far and have won two of their previous three, topped off by a 94-90 win over the Knicks in the Big Apple. Jason, however, is rolling with Indiana to notch their fourth straight win.

Pick: Pacers -5.5

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Philadelphia 76ers

Covered by Jordan Sharp

The Lakers have seen their backcourt bolstered by the return of Steve Nash, Steve Blake and Jordan Farmar and it couldn't have come at a better time after Pau Gasol was recently ruled out for a couple of weeks.

Without their stud big man, Los Angeles still massacred Cleveland two nights ago, and they'll try to inflict similar damage on the 76ers this evening. Check back with us shortly to see which way Jordan ends up going with his selection.

Pick: 76ers -2

Sacramento Kings vs. Boston Celtics

Covered by Jordan Sharp

Though they have essentially the same record, the Kings are favored by a point here on the road in Beantown. Sacramento is just 6-13 SU on the road this season, with Boston at 10-15 straight up at TD Garden.

Both teams have won two in a row, but the Kings' wins (Chicago and Toronto) were more impressive than the Celtics', who topped two bad teams in Philadelphia and Orlando. Where does Jordan see the most NBA betting value for tonight's matchup? He thinks Sacramento will get the job done.

Pick: Kings -1.5

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Covered by Jeff Grant

Key injuries on both sides of the equation tonight make this a tough spot for NBA bettors. Kevin Love could miss out again, while Nikola Pekovic is out with an ankle injury. For New Orleans, Tyreke Evans (ribs) is questionable, while Jrue Holiday, Ryan Anderson and Jason Smith remain sidelined.

Looking over the odds that sportsbooks have released, we find the Pelicans are short favorites on their home floor, where they're an even 12-12 SU this season. And, after breaking down the matchup, Jeff believes we're best served taking New Orleans to get their sixth win in eight games tonight.

Pick: Pelicans -1

Toronto Raptors vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Covered by Jordan Sharp

The Raptors have been one of the most profitable teams to back this season, having recorded a 30-19 ATS mark ahead of Friday night's tipoff inside Staples Center. They'll have their hands full with Blake Griffin and the Clippers though.

Los Angeles is coming off a hard-fought loss to the Heat and will want an immediate positive response tonight. But, Jordan is taking a different path with his NBA picks and believes we'll see plenty of points on the board – he's adding the OVER.

Pick: OVER 204
