Kick off the weekend in style by beating the books with your NBA picks. We're here to help with a look at some of the night's best matchups. There isn't a ton of chalk out there this evening.

The biggest favorite of the night is Dallas (-7.5), who will host a Sacramento team that could be missing star center DeMarcus Cousins. Other than that, the rest of the spreads are at five points or below, making for an interesting night of NBA betting action.

Below you can find the games that we have analyzed further.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Philadelphia 76ers

Covered by Jordan Sharp

Over each team's last 10 games, the Hawks are an even 5-5 SU and the 76ers are 3-7 SU. Tonight Atlanta will come in favored despite being on the road, where they're just 8-14 SU on the season, with Philadelphia at 8-15 SU at home.

With his recommended NBA picks, Jordan thinks readers should go ahead and take the home underdogs in this situation. The Hawks have been hard to trust since Al Horford went down, so he feels more comfortable in backing Philadelphia.

Pick: 76ers +4.5

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Brooklyn Nets

Covered by Jordan Sharp

The run continues for Kevin Durant and the Thunder, who have now won nine straight games to push their lead atop the Western Conference to 3.5 games. They just outclassed the Heat in South Beach and will try to do the same to the surging Nets in Brooklyn tonight.

Jason Kidd's crew dropped their latest game but have still gone an impressive 9-2 SU in the month of January. Which way is Jordan going here? He's riding the streak and forecasting a tenth consecutive Oklahoma City win, along with the ATS cover.

Pick: Thunder -3.5

Charlotte Bobcats vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Covered by Jordan Sharp

For now, the Bobcats hold the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference standings, but the Knicks and Pistons are close behind. A win over the Lakers, who have lost five in a row and eight of ten, would go a long way.

It's truly been an awful season for Los Angeles fans, but things are starting to look up with a number of key players returning to practice. However, Jordan thinks the Lakers will have a tough time with the Bobcats tonight and is selecting the road team to cash.

Pick: Bobcats +2

Golden State Warriors vs. Utah Jazz

Covered by Jeff Grant

Boy did the Warriors look good last night. They dismantled the Clippers at home and will be aiming to inflict similar damage on the improving Jazz this evening. Current NBA odds show Golden State favored by five points.

The Jazz got off to a terrible start this season, but they've looked better here recently and they could easily make a game of this tonight. That's what Jeff sees happening, as he's siding with Gordon Hayward and company to cash as five-point underdogs.

Pick: Jazz +5

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Covered by Jason Lake

These are two of the teams in the West that will be fighting it out for one of the last playoff spots. The Grizzlies have been playing great ball since Marc Gasol returned, but the Timberwolves have been solid too and will be at home in this matchup.

Looking over the NBA betting lines, we can see sportsbooks have listed Memphis has a one-point favorite on the road. Many are going to be drawn in by taking the Timberwolves as home dogs, but Jason thinks the value is on the Grizzlies tonight.

Pick: Grizzlies -1
