Not only will we have two of the league’s most exciting players going head to head, in Steph Curry and LeBron James, but sports bettors can expect this series to go the distance.

Opening NBA Finals odds are already favoring a 6 or 7 game series, and this means us sports bettors will have more than a few options to profit off of this pairing.
[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":308227, "sportsbooksIds":[93,999996,19,349], "LineTypeId":2, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
NBA Championship Odds
Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors come into this year's NBA Finals as the odds favorites, with online sportsbooks offering an average price of -225. This will be the Warriors first NBA Finals appearance in 40 years, but make no mistake, this Golden State team is one who had led the league in many areas this season. The Warriors owned a 67-15 record in the regular season; good enough for the league's best. The Cavaliers went 53-29, which was good enough for second place in the Eastern Conference. Do note that Cleveland’s record would have only been good enough for a fourth seed in the Western Conference.

The Warriors also led the NBA in points per game, rebounds per game and came in at sixth in rebounds per game. Respectively, the Cavaliers were eighth in scoring, tenth in assist and eighteenth in rebounding.

Now on paper, this matchup seems to favor the Warriors in more ways than one, but Cleveland does have experience on their side. Team leader, LeBron James, makes his fifth straight NBA Finals experience, and the Cavaliers will look to rally around their fearless leader.

NBA Finals MVP Watch: Track the Odds as the Series Progresses

Series Price Odds on Offer From Ladbrokes
6 Games: +187

7 Games: +200

5 Games: +240

4 Games: +550

NBA Finals Schedule
Game 1: Thurs, June 4, Cleveland at Golden State, 9:00 p.m. ET, ABC

Game 2: Sun, June 7, Cleveland at Golden State, 8:00 p.m. ET, ABC

Game 3: Tues, June 9, Golden State at Cleveland, 9:00 p.m. ET, ABC

Game 4: Thurs, June 11, Golden State at Cleveland, 9:00 p.m. ET, ABC

Game 5: (If necessary) Sun, June 14, Cleveland at Golden State, 8:00 p.m. ET, ABC

Game 6: (If necessary) Tues, June 16, Golden State at Cleveland, 9:00 p.m. ET, ABC

Game 7: (If necessary) Fri, June 19, Cleveland at Golden State, 9:00 p.m. ET, ABC

On Court Matchups:
POINT GUARD: Steph Curry vs. Kyrie Irving

SHOOTING GUARD: Klay Thompson vs. Iman Shumpert

SMALL FORWARD: Harrison Barnes vs. LeBron James

POWER FORWARD: Draymond Green vs. Tristan Thompson

CENTER: Andrew Bogut vs. Timofey Mozgov
