After winning game one in their Eastern Conference Playoff game I am taking the Chicago Bulls on the plus money line to do it again in game two.

NBA odds makers came out making the Cavaliers the natural favorite at -6.  This makes sense to me because most sports bettors will be thinking about this game being a must win. But the more I look into the numbers and reflect on game one the more I like the value on the Bulls. Chicago is peaking right now and playing some really tough basketball on both ends of the floor.  In their last three games most of their stats offensively and defensively are improved compared to on the year.  Field goal shooting up from 44% to 45%, three point shooting from 36% to 41%, assist from 22 per game to 25, opponent field goals allowed from 43% to 39%, and opponent three point shooting from 33% to 28%.  I understand why people would want to back Cleveland but Chicago is playing very tough right now.

Not peaking
Perhaps it was the injury to Love but the Cavaliers on the offensive end have struggled a bit recently. Compared to their yearly averages the Cavs in the last three games they gone down from 45.7% from the field to 42.4% from the field, and from beyond the arc from 36% to 29.5%.  I anticipate this to continue enough to give the Bulls a real shot at the upset in this spot.

In my opinion Chicago is the better team. I think they have the better coach and I also think they have been focused to play the Cavs for some time. Good value with them on the money line which makes them my NBA pick of the day for the upset.
