Warriors have absolutely dominated the NBA finals. Can LeBron and Cleveland find a way to stop the Warriors from sweeping them and pull off a win at home?

Golden State Warriors vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
NBA odds have come out making this game a pick like at Bookmaker -110. For my NBA pick I am going to back Cleveland in this spot because I believe they are better than how they played the first two games. Although Golden State is the better all-around team, look for the Cavs to find a way to win this game three.

Golden State Warriors
In game two the Warriors shot 54% from the field and 45% from distance blowing out the Cavaliers by over 30 points. I was on the Warriors for games one and two but the line on this game seems off a bit considering how much better they have looked against the Cavs. Across the board they have been much better highlighted by a tremendous defense that has forced Cleveland out of their comfort zone and limited them to just 21 and 23 shots from beyond the arc in the first two games.

Offensively they have been unreal and carved up Cleveland more than anyone has in a long time making Cleveland looking lost on defense and helpless to stop the hot shooting Warriors. All that being said Golden State played basically flawless basketball but I don’t believe that will be as easy to accomplish on the road. They have executed their games plans to perfection but I expect for Cleveland to be a lot more active on the defensive end tonight and limit the Warriors to more pedestrian numbers. The Warriors are the better team and I fully expect them to win this series but they have lost their first game on the road in all of their playoff games so far (enter asterisk here with Curry being out for two of those three games).

Cleveland Cavaliers
In game two the Cavs shot 35% from the field and 28% from distance but again had too many turnovers. Their total on the night was surprisingly lower than the Warriors 18-21 but Golden State was shooting at such a high percent it wasn’t that big of an issue on their end. Let’s face it, Cleveland has looked a shadow of their normal selves while facing Golden State in this series shooting at really low percentages and being ineffective from distance. My biggest gripe against them going into this series was their lack on the defensive end coming into this series with some pretty mediocre numbers across the board on that side of the ball.

What has surprised me though is their lack of offensive punch in this series allowing the Warriors to dictate tempo and rhythm on both ends of the floor. However, I anticipate getting back home will be a welcome feeling and they should play amazingly better especially on the defensive end and knock down more shots from distance. Cavs win a close one and Cleveland fans should enjoy it because it is probably the only game of the series they will win.
