We only have a few days of the regular season left, and I have a couple of games on a large card tonight that I see some value in. Let’s see if we can pad our playoff bankroll tonight, even though some teams are mailing it in.

Knicks vs. Bobcats

New York claimed the #2 seed in the East last night, and it remains more and more likely that most of your notable Knicks will not play tonight in Charlotte. Carmelo Anthony hurt his shoulder in the Knicks’ win against the Pacers, and even though he left and returned to the game, with everything wrapped up, I doubt he plays.

We are still working with the overnight line of Knicks -8 and a total of 203, but with an assortment of Knicks likely to miss the game, I see the value in the total. New York is 11-8 cashing the over on the second night of a back to back and with no reason to play hard tonight scoring will be plentiful.

These two teams played a few weeks ago and the total went over, and I think it will happen again. New York has been scoring with ease, and Charlotte probably won’t have much trouble scoring either with a patchwork lineup for New York. With that being said, I am more than happy to add the 'Over' to my NBA picks this evening.

My Pick: OVER 203

Wizards vs. Nets

The other New York team has secured at least the 4th seed in the East, and even though they could still mathematically move up, it doesn’t look likely. Brooklyn could also choose to rest some players tonight as well.

The NBA Odds for this one favor Brooklyn at -7 ½ and a total of 192. With Washington’s horrific road scoring and Brooklyn’s lack of home offense to begin with, we are on or two “injuries,” away from a nice value on the under.

Seven of the last nine meetings overall between these two have gone under, including the last two this season. Washington won’t get to 85 tonight, while I doubt the Nets get much more than that either. On the second night of a back to back, the Nets normally don’t score the ball well.

Ao once again, I am looking to the total for the second of my free picks, but unlike I first matchup, I see this one falling 'Under'.

My Pick: UNDER 192
