Wednesday’s NBA betting has the hot clubs squaring off at Amway Center, where Orlando has won two straight.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Orlando Magic have combined for a 7-1 spread record in their first four games, while the OVER is 6-2.

Clippers, Paul light up Rockets

Los Angeles reached season-high scoring in Monday’s 137-118 victory over the Houston Rockets, cashing as a five-point home favorite. Clippers guard Chris Paul notched 23 points and 17 assists, while adding two of his side’s seven steals.

Los Angeles’ J.J. Redick hit 8-of-15 field buckets, finishing with a team-high 26 points. Paul and Redick united to sink 16-of-16 free throws, while mate Darren Collison logged three blocks in 15 minutes of action off the bench.

The shootout’s combined 255 points surged OVER the ‘total’ of 211, with the Clippers never trailing. Los Angeles was outscored in the paint, 62-50, while edged in rebounds, 46-38.

Magic pull away at home

Orlando’s latest victory came in Sunday’s 107-86 win as a six-point home dog against the Brooklyn Nets. The Magic held Brooklyn’s lineup to 38.2 percent field shooting, outscoring the Nets through the matchup’s final three quarters.

Magic mates Nikola Vucevic and Andrew Nicholson both notched double-double’s, uniting for 36 points and 23 boards. Orlando’s Arron Afflalo and Moe Harkless drilled a combined 5-for-7 shots beyond the arc, with Afflalo adding a team-high eight assists.

Magic guard Victor Oladipo came off the bench for 19 points, knocking down 8-of-13 buckets from the floor. UNDER backers squeaked out a cashed ticket, with the battle’s 193 points sliding beneath the ‘total’ of 195.

Back the UNDER in Orlando

Bet365 opened Los Angeles as a 7 ½-point road favorite, while first setting the ‘total’ at 208 ½. The Clippers head south to Miami with no rest for Thursday’s next stop, while Orlando has one day off before hosting the Boston Celtics.

I am adding the UNDER in this matchup to Wednesday’s NBA picks, looking for scoring to plunge.

The Clippers have had some surging octane, but their points have cracked the century mark just once in the team’s last six trips to Orlando. Clippers center DeAndre Jordan should be in for a rebounding battle with Orlando’s Nikola Vucevic, with the two big men ranked in the league’s top 10 for boards (11.3 RPG).

Orlando has held visitors to 88 PPG at home, while the UNDER is 4-1 in the club’s last five spots that followed victories. The Magic have allowed a tight 40.3 percent field shooting through all four of this season’s contests, with the UNDER cashing at 2-1 in the span’s three non-overtime duels.

Los Angeles’ Chris Paul has grabbed 13 steals (3.2 SPG), while Magic forward Kyle O’Quinn has pitched in his share of blocks - logging seven through his last 51 minutes of action. Look for a tenser battle here than NBA odds makers expect, with the UNDER going 6-3-1 in the last 10 meetings between these foes.

NBA Pick: UNDER 208 ½ at Bet365
