It’s a huge night of NBA action here on Friday, with 13 games lining the NBA Odds schedule. There are several intriguing games, but I have found two in particular that I feel really good about tonight. Take a look and see where I am playing my NBA Picks tonight.

Hawks vs. Raptors
If I would have told you that on January 16th, the Hawks and Raptors would be two of the the best three teams in the East, you would have backhanded me across the face and told me I was crazy. However, the 16th is here, and two of the East’s best teams are set to do battle on Friday night. While I have yet to figure out if the Hawks are a fluke or not, it appears they are anything but the sort, but they’ll have to prove it once again against the newly healthy Raptors tonight. The NBA Odds have the Raptors as -1 favorites, but I am a bit more focused on the total, which sits at 208 points.

While these two teams have been very impressive on offense, their defenses will be what makes them into true Eastern Conference contenders. With the return of DeMar DeRozan the other night, the Raptors get a ton better defensively. They are several points better on defense in multiple advanced categories with DeRozan, and I expect him to put the clamp down on whomever he is defending tonight. On top of that, as long as the Hawks’ guys who have missed the last few games are healthy, I would be surprised if both fo these teams got over 100 points tonight.

The Hawks have cashed the under in four of their last six games overall, and in eight of their last 12 overall too. As a favorite they have cashed the over at 16-10, and on the other side, in their last six games against winning teams, the Raptors have cashed the under in all six.

Bulls vs. Celtics
The Chicago Bulls have been feeling the effect of the dog days of January recently, as they have started to slump. However tonight against the Celtics, they should have no problem getting out of that slump. The Celtics have now traded away most of their NBA talent, and the Bulls should be able to use this game as a spring board to get back on track. The NBA Odds have the Bulls as -5 road favorites, and despite their recent struggles, I have no doubt they can cover here.

The Celtics are only 1-4 ATS in their last five games against teams with winning records SU, and they are 0-4 ATS in their last four against teams with winning percentages of 60% or better. While the Bulls have played down to their competition on several occasions this season, after losing four of their last five games I doubt they take anyone lightely. Chicago is still 4-1 ATS in their last five games as road favorites, and while they have lost nine of their last 11 games ATS, I feel like they should get back on track tonight against the lowly Celtics. Lay the points and add it to your NBA Picks tonight.
